Our room was the double suite with the best views I have ever seen of the mountains . The rooms were beautifully designed and very clean . We got upgraded and the staff was delightful. I would stay here again and again. The location was spot on too in the middle of the Main Street.

The room was very dated, and unfortunately the cleanliness did not meet expectations. The washroom had an unpleasant smell, and the bathtub was visibly dirty upon arrival.
There is no air conditioning in the room, so it became quite warm at night even in May. The room itself is also very small, although I was aware of that before booking. The balcony was the best feature of the room with a good view, but even the outdoor table and chairs were dirty.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, however the cleanliness and food handling practices were concerning. The staff preparing omelettes were using the same gloved hands to handle different ingredients, creating potential cross-contamination between meat, vegetables, and cheese. I also witnessed a staff member handling cheese with bare hands while wearing shellac nails, which was very unhygienic and concerning from a food safety perspective.
For the amount of money charged per night, I would not recommend this facility.

Amazing views from the pool, room is functional and has a good fan to keep air moving, and the fridge is an under rated benefit.
Awesome true spa area as well, although I wish they did more at check in to explain the procedures so people don’t get awkwardly surprised (clothing is expressly banned, and it is mixed gender)

Located in the heart of Grindelwald this hotel was fabulous. We decided to book a room with a view of the Eiger and it didn’t disappoint especially sitting on the balcony sipping our coffee admiring the view. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfy. I’d recommend anyone to use their spa especially the infinity pool on the roof overlooking the Eiger.

Overall, lovely hotel and in a great location in the town centre. Spa and pool are the highlight. Room was comfy and fresh, think we had a updated room which was nice. It did however lack coat hooks and places to hang wet robes and towels...a basic that's missing. Breakfast was ok, it didn't quite hit expectations. Could have done with a few more hot options. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Spinne was a great place to stay in Grindelwald with a wonderful view of the mountains from the balcony, breakfast included, a warm swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms were spacious and very well-kept with a fridge, clean bathroom easily accessible lift. The only downside for me was a harder and slightly less comfortable mattress that wasn't a double size, but this will vary between people.

The room was squeaky clean and very modern with spectacular views of the mountains.
Breakfast had a nice variety of fresh food and the infinity pool and saunas were a great way to end the day.
The location of the hotel is great- a very short walk to the train station and the gondola.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location was perfect. Looking at the mountains and snow falling every morning and evening was a dream. Easy access to restaurants, COOP grocery store and equipment rentals. Train is a 10 minute walk to get to the lifts and main skiing areas.
The staff is amazing at Hotel Spinne, they were helpful and friendly. It was raining one of the evenings we were going out and they had umbrellas to use for guests. We also were leaving in the morning before breakfast was served and they offered to prepare us a breakfast to be delivered to our room the night before. When i tell you we could not have been more grateful for that as we had a 5hr travel ahead of us with tight train connections. Truly above and beyond hotel. Highly recommend and I will definitely stay here again.
