Very convenient to get a transportation pass from the hotel.

Very spacious rooms and very clean. For a family of four it was great! It is a hotel for patients staying in the nearby hospitals, however it worked very well for us. Train and metro transportation very close by and convenient.

The concept is a nice idea but not for us.. Wasn’t aware this hotel was a hotel for hospital patients. There is no tea / coffee making facility in the room, in fact the room although very clean is literally a bed, one pillow each, and very basic. Although calling itself a hotel it is more like a hospital room. The ‘restaurant’ is more a canteen, and although the food is good there are hospital patients with cannulas, bandages and new borns wondering around. I do like the idea this ‘hotel’ is trying to do but if classing themselves as a hotel they need to add that hotel feel not a hospital. If you are travelling for pleasure (couple break away for us) perhaps not for you, if you want a quick stop to get your head down then it would do.

The room and all facilities at the hotel are super clean and free of any odors. The room is quite spacious. We loved the clean white clutter free design. The bathroom was very spacious unlike other hotels in Switzerland. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the variety of food. The hotel staff are courteous and friendly.

A very nice modern and convenient hotel. The reception staff were excellent. The car-parking is private and easy to access.

The room was a family one. Top floor. Fabulous views over Lausanne and the lake. Very conveniently located. Large balcony with stunning views of the sunrise! Hairdryer and kettle in the room. Would come back again!

Hotel and room were very good. Convenient location next to a Metro stop. Room did not have Aircon but had things in place so could ventilate the room. Could do with a small fridge in the room and extra cup etc left as there were 3 of us in the room. Overall though, a really good hotel and would stay again.

Hotel was close to the(underground)train station. When you get off the train take the up the stairs or elevator to the main road and walk up the hill to the hotel. Less than 5 minute walk and not very steep hill. Staff member was super helpful. I had called earlier to ask about early check and was told no, but they could store our luggage if we wanted to sight see, but when we got there a couple hours early our room was ready which was great. Our room was quite large, bigger than we expected. Had a bed, a hide a bed couch, living room area, big bathroom, TV, and fan. No air conditioning in room but fan was helpful. Hotel is called Hotel Des Patients because it is near or connected to a hospital so family members have a place to stay if a loved one is in the hospital. We didn't know that when we booked it, but everything was wonderful. Staff members spoke good English and were very helpful with everything. Helped figure out my phone to get the free hotel internet, gave us an umbrella to borrow on a rainy day, stored our luggage when we checked out so we could go to church by train without lugging that around, and staff was just very pleasant and eager to help. Breakfast and lunch service was very good also. Breakfast was a big spread of food; fruit, yogurt, breads, meat, cheeses, sausage, bacon boiled or scrambled egg, chocolate or white milk in a box, cereal and a few other things, and self serve coffee and juice station. Great hotel and friendly staff!

No air condition

Hotel was very clinical, more of a hospital than a hotel. On discovering more the hotel is used by patients of the nearby hospital. There is a maternity floor and patients come to breakfast with bandaged limbs, carrying oxygen bags. Very strange. It stated parking was free but this was not the case. Also no air con. Hotel was very clean. Good breakfast but wont stay here again.

Very helpful front desk staff! Clean and very affordable; Close to metro. Can be at waterfront in less than 30 minutes.

Fantastic room, wonderful view with easy access to the tram stop. Lovely welcome from check in staff. Would definitely recommend. Wasn’t sure about the air con?

The hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious and big. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was VERY good. I will come back to this hotel when I come to Lausanne again. Thanks for everything!
