Without doubt one of the best hotel I stayed during my trip to Switzerland. We were warmly welcomed by the staffs… the room was allocated immediately upon arrival. The staffs were extreamly friendly , flexible restaurant… nice ambiance’s.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The strict early check in process was lengthy although I paid extra for it. They need to realize that a customer who have travelled far and is tired they need refreshment. so the staff needed to clean it up earlier espcially when I had contacted them early. The second issue was it was hard to get hold of hotel clerk over the phone from overseas.

Our bed was two single beds pushed together so you kept falling down the middle of them during the night! Which meant me and my wife could not hug! The pillows were really hard, like rocks! Did not sleep very well. The morning buffet was so expensive, even though the kids were “free”, it was still 31 Swiss Franks per person!!

I was very disappointed with the customer service from the Novotel Reservations team. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and we had to cancel my plan partially. Even after describing the whole situation and sharing all the the travel documents with the Reservation department, they simply ignored my case and avoided to help. It was not expected from a reputed hotel like Novotel. If they care about their customer and discuss this matter further, I would love to talk to them.

First and foremost the Staff was very attentive to our needs whether we needed extra pillows, extra blankets, any info or recommendation on sight seeing or restaurants to eat at the staff was great. It was my wife and two 21 year old daughters staying at the Novatel for 5 nights for holiday from the States. . Rooms very clean. Hotel located in a good location. Not very touristy (which we like) but walkable to train station (about 20 minutes). Lots of restaurants to choose from on the walk toward train station. Grocery store across the street 2minute walk.

I liked the location,the upkeep was also very good ,what i didn't like was staff attitude it was careless and not welcomingat all , the restaurant never answers the phone for room service, the front desk didn’t care at all about that,we booked a room for 2 adultsand 2 kids ,but we got was 4 befs cramped in a small room ,i visit zurich all the time with my family ,i cannot say that i will stay in this novatel .Thank you.

There was absolutely no facilities which are bare minimum, like - no iron board or coffee machine or water bottles in the room. Staff was not available most of the time to make the sofa bed, and the worst of all - no one picks up the front desk phone. You literally need to walk down to them every time. Breakfast was decent and locality is well connected.

Certainly not the usual standard of a Novotel - it was connected to sister hotel the Ibis and it certainly felt like they put a lick of blue paint on an Ibis. By far the poorest Novotel I’ve stayed in but comfortable for a lower end hotel.
