Great service and super clean. It was in a great location, close to a lot of the amenities that Zermatt had to offer. Many added perks to staying here from breakfast which is included with your stay, to the spa and tea time offerings daily. The rooms were sound proof, spacious and cozy. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Zermatt area.

The front desk person was grumpy. The spa and pool were closed. The restaurant had a TON of flies inside, and they messed up my order, giving me a meat dish when I ordered vegetarian. There was a half drunk Coke in the mini fridge. The shower handles cannot be reached unless already under the shower head, so you have no choice but to be hit with cold water. The toilet has a bidet button that can’t be reached from the toilet. There are so many places to stay, there’s no need to choose this place.

Lovely boutique hotel, amazing characterful rooms, good breakfast and location. Staff generally cheerful and helpful. Nice touches like loan of a rucksack. Shame the pool was closed as that and the bar were really the only facilities in the hotel but plenty else to do in Zermatt. A secure WiFi would have been helpful.

The Tradition Julen is a fantastic hotel with an incredible location offering stunning views of the Matterhorn. The staff was as friendly and helpful as could be, the room was beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing. Very, very easy walking distance (a few blocks) to the heart of Zermatt.

Hotel Julien is charming and the staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. The rooms are so nice, many extras that you don't see at other hotels. My only negative comment is that there didn't seem to be appropriate covering on the bathroom window for night time use, and it was difficult to reach close to the bathroom mirror to apply makeup.

Beautiful and charming hotel in the perfect Zermatt location. Nice view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Everything in town was walkable (though they sent a free shuttle to pick us up from the train station when we first arrived). We loved the pool and spa and they even made our dog feel at home. Very highly recommended.

The Hotel was to say the least exceptional. It was approximately 15 minutes from the train and an breath taking walk for views as they were phenomenal. It was later in the day on arrival. We had some clothes to be cleaned. We had checked in, they recommended the restaurant below on site. The room was awesome with 2 balconies, the room was not short of anything we needed for our stay, free mini bar (Hi Lite LOL). After dinner we returned to the room to find our clothes to be cleaned returned. We had a clear night to enjoy a beverage from our balcony and enjoy the views, a moon lit evening and stars just blazing. Awesome service! We enjoyed the pool and any amenity we could. The only thing i would change was the length of stay. We would have loved to be there for a week. Walking distance to anywhere was close.
