Green Hotel - Chiayi

整體環境乾淨舒適,只是淋浴間可放置毛巾衣物的架子不大,略顯不便;開放室洗手台雖方便多人同住時使用,但地面也容易有水漬!!

Typhoon Fung Wong was coming so Alishan was closed and we couldn't check-in to our Alishan hotel. It was late, dark but no wind and fairly calm, nearby hotels and BnB coming down Alishan were all fully booked (because of the park closure), luckily, found this Green Hotel in Chiayi and were able to book 3 rooms. Rooms were spacious, clean with a good layout separating toilet and shower area. Next morning we found a 5 star rated cafe in an alley just around the corner, run by a young barista, a winner of business start-up sponsored by the Chiayi city's Economic Affairs Dept, coffee beans roasted on site, grounded right before brewing, with a relaxing seating area. Highly recommend.

Clean but need more place to hang towels etc

My family had a wonderful stay — the room was clean, and the surrounding area was very convenient. We truly appreciated the hotel’s thoughtfulness in waiving one night’s stay when a family member had to check out a day early due to feeling unwell and needing to head to Taipei to prepare for our return to the U.S. We will book this hotel again the next time we visit Taiwan!

It was a convenient location, small boutique hotel a short walk from the night market

The hotel is on a busy street without any sidewalk, and the English name is not in Google Maps, so it took me a good 10mins dragging my suitcase up and down through traffic to find it. Note: it's NOT near the park in the hotel pictures. The front desk staff were not friendly and not very quick with their jobs. The rooms are newly renovated with modern interior decoration. However, the toilet and shower are confined and poorly lit. Both also reek of drain smell, so the extractor fan has to be kept on. It took a lot of effort to open the window in my room as well. I was intrigued by the 3M earplugs on the table until the night fell, and the noise from the street below and the corridors continued to pour in. I guess enough previous guests complained for them to offer the earplugs by default.

飯店算蠻新的，樓下咖啡廳還在施工，目前是簡易的櫃檯。 這次入住豪華雙人房，房間內有附沙發，應該是四人房的空間改的，滿寬敞舒適。 浴室是洗手台在外，淋浴和廁所都有分開，滿方便的。 設備和設計都簡單，但該有的都有，價格也親民，位置很方便，旁邊有個間很多當地人來吃的小吃店，對面就是卓武咖啡。

地理位置良好，附近非常多餐廳。 房間內燈光明亮，空間寬敞、舒適、整齊、乾淨。 洗手台在房間內的設計很特殊，非常方便。

Loved the hospitality of the staff and the furnishings of the rooms were very minimalistic and comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights. After checking in, we let the staff know we wanted our room cleaned the second day. After returning to our room the second day, we were surprised to see the room wasn’t cleaned. Staff asked us if we left the do not disturb light on and we insisted we didn’t. Nonetheless, it was too late for our room to be cleaned. The room itself is moderate but the toilet and shower situation is a bit odd. They’re separated but there is limited privacy.

Close to train station and everything we need. Great stay overall

It is value for money. The room is large and clean. It has good location as It is closed to night market, very convenient.

This hotel is a good deal for the price. and it is all renovated and very clean. only thing that bothered me a bit is that the walls are not sound proof at all, i could easily hear noises and tv in the other room next to mine. for me it was not a big issue as they were not very noisy but i believe it could become one if the neighbours are inconsiderate. this being said i still think it is a very nice place for the quality and price. and well placed and not far from train station.
