我們去過日本名古屋的樂高樂園，所以會用樂高樂園的感受來檢視棒棒積木飯店。帶著兩個小孩，一共是兩大兩小四個人住進號稱豪華雙人房。豪華的程度是只有兩張標準床，一台電視、一台冰箱與一個熱水壺；簡單的衛浴設備（沒有浴缸）走道是需要肩並肩才能通過，無法打開28吋的行李箱；只能打開20吋的。沒有衣櫃，只有簡單的掛架，可勉強放四個人的外套。沒有其他多餘的桌子與椅子，只能在床上坐著看電視；對於有潔癖還沒洗澡就上床的我們，沒有賓至如歸的感覺；有種天啊這裡是寸土寸金的地方嗎？新臺幣4500元（含早餐）的房費，不如到嘉義市區住還比較友善些。
