This is our 4th time in this hotel, but last time was several years ago so there are many improvements- the rooms has been modernised, new restaurant menu, new area with swimming pool, a gym and Thai boxing added, and a spa. But the main character of the property is maintained- being a very relaxed, beautiful seaside hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly too, no ask too big. We will be back again soon, thank you xx

Disappointing. This “resort” is dated and in need of some serious attention. The pool is very small for a resort and it was disgusting. The color of the water was murky, there was so much sand in it we didn’t even want to go in. Out “superior” bungalow was decent , the bed was pretty comfortable, but we were in the back of the resort area and heard all of the loud construction truck and other traffic noise early in the morning and on the evening. It was nice to walk out and be on the beach, This side of the island, the water is nice and calm, we went next door and had great food at the chill out hotel. We did not have good food at this resort, but there are many nice cafes and restaurants not too far down the beach and in town. I think they need to hire more staff to keep the pool clean and tidy up the place. It’s a 2 star resort at best.

Overall, this place was lovely. Although I didn’t realize this was a wellness retreat prior to booking , I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the breakfast was complementary and delicious, and the rooms were well equipped with a safe deposit box, a mini fridge, toiletries, and air-conditioning. I also really appreciated the complementary use of a KAYAK during my stay . My only complaint about this place is the staff in the restaurant. The service was extremely slow, even when I was the only customer, and they were not particularly friendly or accommodating. The first meal I had there was a salad, that was supposed to come with certain ingredients on it (ie. pistachios and avocado) and when the salad arrived it did not contain the ingredients listed on the menu. When I said something to my waitress , She looked confused and just said that they no longer carry those items. I also found a spider in the same salad towards the end of my meal, and there were no apologies or discounts given. I thought that was a poor response. Otherwise the juices and smoothies that I had were delicious, but the food was very overrated and the service was not the best. With that being said the rest of the staff at the resort was extremely friendly and accommodating, including the taxi driver Moo and his wife the receptionist. I also had an extremely enjoyable massage in the spa. The location of the resort Is not very conveniently located so you will need a car or scooter to get around.

Very nice hotel located directly on the beach. Two pools, direct access to beach, very good breakfast buffet and helpful staff - what more do you need. Unfortunately, our itinerary meant only a single night stay and we were honestly sad to leave without having more chance to enjoy.

A lovely hotel on a long beach with island views. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very good Thai food is served at the restaurant as well as 2 local restaurants within walking distance. I visited this part of Samui because I was taking the ferry to the mainland, however, I am willing to consider staying in the area during my next longer visit. By the way, they packed me a breakfast to take away the next morning. Very nice

Lipa Lovely is a great resort if you are looking for a place to relax. The area of the hotel is shared with Orion Retreat centre, which means there is a lovely vegan/raw restaurant next to the Lipa Lovely restaurant. This means that it was possible to combine super healthy meals with our relaxed week at the beach. Even better: I could order my #health meals at the orion restaurant, while my partner orderd the pizza from the Lipa menu. The perfect combination for all couples!

This is a great hotel for the price. Spacious, beach facing one-room villas that were perfect for a couple with a toddler. There are a few eating options around, but the restaurant on the property is excellent with plenty of options and great Thai food. This area of the island is quiet, but a great option if that's what you're looking for.

Overall it's a very quiet place with lovely view. Keep in mind it's a three star so do not compare it to Conrad or Marriott. Amazing value for location and we used it as a break from trip to mainland Thailand and Cambodia. This place is far from any bigger towns and is very peaceful. Also close to ship pier and since we flew AirAsia our last leg was a boat to the island so it worked out great.

The view from the beach bungalow was great, the seclusion was also nice. However, the service was lacking (cleaning was not detailed, grimey doorknobs, dog poo on the porch, bird poo on the loungers, sandy rooms) and the facilities could have been better (the beach loungers were old and the cushions kept sliding off, uneven concrete slabs, rusty metal thing on the beach (??), cigarette butts everywhere in the sand, tiny swimming pool, mosquitoes everywhere- no repellent provided for the room, super sandy rooms resulting from no broom or effective mat to keep the sand out, and spotty internet). That being said, it wasn't horrible. There's no way to control the type of guests that will stay at the same time, but all the aforementioned things plus rowdy and obnoxious guests made for an off-putting experience. There are also no phones in the rooms for you to call the front desk, so if you were out on the north side of the property, you had to walk over to the front desk every time to ask for anything. In addition, whenever we asked for assistance, the staff seemed reluctant to help and unwilling to go the extra mile (unusual for Thai resorts). The price didn't seem worth it for all the little issues that kept popping up.
