Lovely hotel.. out of town but in a lovely area with lots of restaurants and bars...
Shuttle service excellent to beach but only a 20 mi walk so no issues..
Hotel spotless breakfast good and pool area lovely but quite small..

Great hotel - we got an upgrade to one of the lovely villas and loved our stay there. It is very peaceful, with a nice pool and awesome views. Very friendly people who work there are accommodating and helpful.
The hotel was within a walking distance (for us) to the beach.
Oh - and awesome breakfast, too.

Laundry service from third party so they need 48 hours before not 24hrs as advertised. The shuttle service for airport they have are from third party and are not convenient hours. The front desk people usually were nice but there was one morning where one the girls seemed rude and didnt want to help me when i had more questions.

It is a good location where is not super close to the crowed area and the beach area in town, so it is quiet and private. The hotel free shuttle bus makes a big difference that it only takes less than 5 mins to get to the beach and downtown area. And the reception people were very helpful! And the breakfast is good!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks so that I could recover from surgery. As I couldn’t get out and about, the comfort of the room was very important. Beds were super comfy, air con and wifi good. I enjoyed Netflix on the TV. My husband enjoyed the buffet breakfast each day and was able to bring a tray to the room for me. Amazing omelettes! Other meals we had at the hotel were also lovely and good value
The hotel is set amongst the beautiful limestone cliffs of Krabi. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The beach is about 1 km to the beach but hotel provides a shuttle.
There are many local restaurants nearby, they are a bit rough looking but the food is amazing and very cheap
The highlight of our stay was the staff- they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for your excellent customer service and hospitality
The only negative thing I have to say is that some of the outside paving is slippery after rain. I was on crutches and did notice this
Also pool area was not that inviting but they seemed to be working on those improvements. More shade around the pool and some mats on the sun lounges would help
Overall this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and highly recommend it

Hotel is good with restaurant and scenic views of hills. Greeted with cup of welcome juice.
But staff does not know how to treat the tourist.
And they are strict, I checked out at 12:25 PM. They started to warn me if I make another 5 mins late I need to pay fine of 300Bath.
My wife asked for a glass of water while checking out they told you need to pay for water.
Welcome I saw during the check in with a cup of juice was spoiled during the checkout as they were not able to give a glass of water.
I would say every hotel should be able to provide a drinking water if they claim that they are clean and hygiene.

excellent almost new property lovely location on the foot of aonang hills...peaceful ambience...200 mts away from the main road....the moment you come out on the main road everything is available.....male staff is very helpful in the resort whereas the female staff needs to improve.

This was the best choice i’ve made to stay there. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. This hotel was situated perfectly, it was very silent and the pool was incredibly perfect. The price and free breakfast added to my overall satisfaction. I would definitely go back there if I ever go back to Ao Nang.

All the reviews were correct about this gorgeous hotel. It’s true that it’s not close to the beach but a minivan is at your disposal to drive you all day long. Everyone who works on the property is gracious and very polite. The property itself has the most stunning location nestled by a mountain and in a setting close to many local restaurants offering Thai cuisine beyond your expectations! We tried several restaurants during our week stay and enjoyed them all.
We stayed in one of the villas which I believe is the best choice. The mountain view rooms were less appealing to me.
Our only surprise was the stinginess of the breakfast buffet. I felt that a sense of frugality almost as if the staff were under strict controls. I’ve never seen such small pancakes which never kept up with the demand.

Lovely hotel on a side road off the main road into Ao Nang. Just that little too far away from the action though, to do the walk there and back more than once a day. The hotel does lay on a free 'beach transfer' but this can't always be fully relied upon. The bungalows are lovely, as is the pool area. Breakfast was good, with friendly service. The Reception staff were always on hand with a smile to answer any query we had. All in all very good. Wi-fi service reliable and reasonably fast. Ao Nang is a highly (over) developed location, but it has excellent connections to the whole of eastern Thailand. The choice of restaurants and hotels is enormous. If you're looking to exchange currency, then do it here as some of the smaller islands do not have the facilities and the rates here are better than I found elsewhere.

The resort was fantastic! Area was quiet but was a short walking distance to the main road (around 10 minutes), and there's also a free shuttle down to the beach, but you can also walk down to the beach (around 20 minutes). The resort is located near the mosque and in the evening you can find some stalls selling street food and souvenirs as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. There was a restaurant nearby (closed on Wednesdays). The TV had Netflix so we were pleasantly surprised about that, however the Wi-Fi connection was quite spotty at times but mostly okay. Breakfast was quite basic but acceptable. Other than that, I had an amazing time at Aonang Hill Resorts.
