Don't listen to the negative reviews.
Breakfast was enough for us to start our day, plus point it is an inclusive restaurant where their staff are mixed with disabled staff (mute). Very encouraging and heartwarming.
The dessert specialty cafe on the front is great, coffee selection was immersive and tasty.
Special note for Khun Bee, the FO girl. She helped us to arrange a tour and advise us places to visit around Chiangmai. Her hospitality is our highlight of this stay.
We will be back!!!!

This is the second time I've stayed at Pingdoi with my wife. We both really like this hotel and we love Chiangmai. Do yourself a favor and book here, it's in a great place and you'll enjoy your stay. The rooms are great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is not very big. Good location, in the middle of the city. If you come on Sunday, there is a walking street, so it is convenient to walk. The staff service is very good. The room is well-proportioned. Sleep comfortably. Breakfast has both a buffet (salad/bread/fruit) and a set that you can order as much as you want. The taste is delicious. The only problem is that there is no parking. You have to park on the side of the road. In the middle of the night, you have to move to another side (leave the key for the staff to move).
