We stayed at the Ascott for just under a week. What an absolutely unforgettable experience! Wonderful staff, polite, friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. As an example, we didn't realise that we needed to prebook the free shuttle to Icon Siam shopping centre so there was no space on the shuttle when we got downstairs. The staff apologised and then arranged a taxi for us, free of charge! When we had to leave very early in the morning for an excursion, the staff provided beautifully packed breakfast bags for us to eat on the way.
Our apartment was big, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Always clean.
The hotel is close to Silom centre, lots of places to eat (street food galore!), and a couple of train stations, so very convenient.
Thank you to the staff for making our first visit to Thailand so wonderful!

Please be informed that our swimming pool will be temporarily closed from Monday, 1st September to Monday, 29th September 2025 for essential maintenance. During this period, guests can enjoy several complimentary alternatives, including access to an alternative swimming pool just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, a daily shuttle drop-off to ICONSIAM at 11:30 AM, exclusive in-room massage discounts (with bookings made at least 3 hours in advance), daily fitness classes from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, and complimentary drinks and snacks at the Residence Lounge twice a week from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your kind understanding. For further assistance, please contact our Guest Service team.
Please be informed that annual electricity maintenance will take place on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During this time, complimentary drinks and snacks will be served in the Lobby and Residence Lounge (Level 9), with transfer services to ICONSIAM and Central Embassy at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. A refrigerator on emergency power is also available for essential food storage—please contact Guest Service at extension “0”. Great hotel in a fairly central location, close to BTS with a handy shuttle service. The hotel was very clean and all staff were very helpful. The rooms we had were great with the best showers. Bangkok has a huge choice of hotels but we would highly recommend this one and we would stay again.

The only downside is the room said for 4 people but there were three beds- we only needed the room for the day so it wasn’t a big deal but would have been an issue for an overnight

I’ve stayed here several times and really enjoy it. However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that late check-out isn’t allowed if the booking is made through Expedia or other third-party sites—it’s only available when booking directly through their website.
When I checked in, I requested a late check-out and was told it was only available for ASR members. So, I registered and became a member. Despite this, on the day of check-out, I received a call from reception informing me that late check-out is only granted to those who book through the hotel’s own website, not through third-party platforms. She did allow it this time as an exception, but made it clear it wouldn’t be permitted in the future.

We had a great experience in this property. Very spacious apt, joined rooms making a 2 bedroom apt with everything we needed as a family of tree with teenager. Food in the hotel was very good, rare sometimes in hotels. We used the gym, sauna, steam room, pool, lounge, room service, and everything fantastic. Location also very convenient and safe area. And you have good places to eat around, recommend Luka and Bartels.

We loved our stay at the Ascott. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in the premier apartment which was very comfortable, clean and modern.
The breakfast was good, however some of the food wasn’t hot and the selection could have been better.
