The Baan boa is a fantastic place maybe a little dated but roomy and very clean staff cannot do enough for you been going to patong for over 14 years I wish I found it sooner for the price comfort it’s brilliant

The Baan Boa has become my favorite place to stay whenever I visit Patong. The rooms are nice and spacious. You've got room to spread all your things out. The hotel itself is located on the quiet side of Patong Beach, far away from the madness that is Bangla Road, but still just a 15 minute walk. Tuk-tuks will charge $200 baht to run you anywhere around Patong (as of April 2023).

Location: Excellent. Close to the beach. Shops of all kinds are nearby. Still, the area is quiet for a restful sleep after daylong sightseeing. Staff: Very helpful. They help guests every way possible. I went to Krabi and the receptionist helped me book a car at a reasonable price. The daylong sightseeing package which was arranged by Mark, the guy who runs a tour and travel shop within the hotel premises, was much less than outside rates. Pool: The pool is nice and big, water is very clean. Breakfast: The menu is okay, the hotel authority should increase choices.

Hotel is max 3 stars, definitely not 4. The room is out of date and it wasn’t clean. I always check behind/below the bed when leaving to double check if nothing dropped down, and it was disgusting. The location is very convenient and quiet. Please give more attention to the estate of the hotel.

Located on the southside of Patong Beach in a quiet area far away from the hustle and bustle of Bangla Road. Loved it here. It was so chill, and the room was spacious. Stayed for about ten days. Although it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk from Bangla Road, I found it to be a nice way to end the evening, walking down along the beach after a night of drinking and eating. I plan to return again.

I was booked on 4th floor and given my knee injury I enquired if I can be moved . There was a room available on ground floor for 500TH a evening. However upon entering the room I sensed they don’t usually give that room out coz we experience a lot of problems whilst in it. Firstly, it smelt moldy even if they spray air fresher it remains... bathroom basin pipe was leaking. When u open the basin tap then you get a stinky drain smell... so ja I kinda feel that they should not have charged for 200 THB knowing the problems is the room... they should maybe consider abit more variety for breakfast as each day I didn’t stay too long at breakfast coz same old each day🙃

Booked this hotel for a double bed room 2 months in advance, when we arrived they gave us a room with a single bed in. The staff didn't seem to care and said there are no other rooms left, we can give you a refund and can go back to the street. No apologies given, was a big distraction during our holiday.

Stayed for one month for the second time. Very nice small hotel, right on the beachfront. Hotel is very friendly with very good staff. Very clean, if basic rooms. Good food available. The hotel is competitively priced compared to some of the bigger hotels in the area. would recommend.
