This resort has a very cosy and green space, plus it has a private beach, which no one would actually access if only he stays at this resort. Staff is super friendly. Kitchen is so so, but there is plenty of nice restaurants around (within 5 min bike trip).

Stayed 5 days at end of 3 week visit to Thailand. This was my final stop and mostly chill time before trip home. Fisherman's Village was great. Hotel was ok as long as you are expecting a budget hotel. I was. Good owners/staff. Very friendly.

Arrived and all seemed well. Owner was plesant. Arrived in room. Dishes were dirty, no soups for wasroom, toilet paper empty and heat was unbareable. It took 24 hours for air to work/circulate. We went to check out, and owner wasn't there. Asked us to wait 10 minutes for us to get there but we would of been late to airport.

Cocooning is down the quiet end of Fisherman's Village but that is not a bad thing at all - the restaurants are cheaper down here but the food is still great, the beach is quiet and everything is easily within walking distance. The owners are very friendly, helpful and informative. The room was clean, the air con worked well and the bed was comfy. All in all basic, but good value for money.

This hotel is very good value for money, in a good location and the rooms are great. The staff who work there are very helpful. One thing to watch out for is the walking market on Friday, which is great but the hotel bar becomes party central, so either join in or bring your ear plugs...

This is a type of guest house really, very basic, but good value as it is inexpensive, The other plus is its location- in Fisherman's Village which abounds with quite good restaurants and little shops. The room is fairly rustic, but most charming, and it does have airconditioning, a TV, a room safe, and a little fridge. I found the bed comfortable and there was warm water in the shower. I wasn't able to open the door to the balcony, but as it was the hot season didn't really need it. On the downside, I had chosen this place partly because there are so few rooms that I had hoped the owners (who were said by several Trip Advisor comments to be very helpful) would be able to keep an eye on me (elderly single woman) and provide advice etc. However they were rarely there due to having a newborn....I arrived at night and a friend of the owners who did not identify himself and was not particularly welcoming was there to give me the key. Also, there was no soap provided in the shower, so had to wait until the next morning to buy some. In general I was treated cordially but with little spontaneous interest in my welfare etc. and as I was alone this was a bit disappointing but hardly crucial. Apart from those issues this is an ideal place for independent travelers who are not interested in or don't have the $ for luxuries like a swimming pool or soap in the shower..

The only word to describe this hotel is DISGUSTING. The owner parties with patrons until midnight in the bar so you can hear them screaming when you're trying to sleep. The room is filthy. Really filthy. There was sand all over my bed. The shower curtain looked like its never been washed. I can tell they never clean things. They only tidy things and put them in places. Never actually clean. Horrible experience.
