Erawan House

Good location and nice staff, but otherwise terribly rundown, old, uncomfortable, felt dirty

We stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms need some updating but had A/C and mozzie nets on windows. Staff were all friendly and politeand we were offered a bottle of water each every day from the fridge after we had been out exploring. Would stay again no problem next time in Bangkok

Walking distance to Phra Artit pier, Khao San road & Grand Palace. Far enough away from the noisiness of Khao san road though. Food & entertainment was always walking distance away. The river ferry took us every where, BTS, IconSiam, China Town, Asiatique, etc. Stayed here before and loved it.

Nice room in the city. Helpful staff and kind. A bit tiny room but okay for sleeping.

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and a accommodating. Room is small, but your not spending time in your room Here in Bangkok, right?

The rooms here are very small. The toilet and the shower are basically on top of each other. It was very humid, and we couldn't close the windows. A/c unit is strong. Efficient staff (not very friendly). Cheap stay in a good location.

Walking distance to the water ferry. Made it easy for us to get to Chinatown, Asiatique, BTS Sky train

We switched from Hotel Wild Orchid across the street. Erawan House was wonderfully the opposite of Wild Orchid. There were no noisy back packers. 7-11, laundry services, food & pubs were literally down stairs in the alley. As a plus there is a Muay Thai gym (Phra Athit Road) that had free weights and tread mills around the corner from it. I was able to do a 3 mi run along the river and across the huge river bridge since we were so close to the large Chao Phraya river Even though we were bouncing from Phuket, Chiang Mai, Japan. We kept on going back to this hotel since it was the most ideal for our needs. Close proximity to ferry, Khaosan (night activities and food). There was a pub around the corner (Phra Athit Road) that had a great metal cover band (Guns & Roses, Nirvana, etc). Every time we stayed at Erawan House we found something new.

Great location for the 20 something age group. Next to everything, comfortable accommodations for a great price. Poor TV quality but had CNN in English so that was great. Can get loud at night if there's events next door so be aware

Good location. Clean enough. Bathroom could be cleaner. AC works well. Bed is comfortable. Cable TV. Close to street food and cheap restaurants. They keep your bags after checkout if you like. Very friendly staff. Water fountain to fill up anytime. 1000 baht deposit but you get it back after checkout.

Nice hotel easy to working not far from kao san road room ok 2 people facilities not 100 % full but if comparing with room rates is Ok

Basic and decent.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Limited or no wifi in the rooms, had to use the communal area to get signal. 5 minute walk from Khaosan Road.

Great little budget hotel. We arrived very early in the morning and they let us check in very early after a long flight. Snacks, water, toliet paper and in room safe included. Great location just a couple minute walk to khao San road. Beds are a little hard and rooms are quite small but good for the price.

Safe convenient economical quiet

My 4th stay. I keep on extending. Very convenient to the old Bangkok. A bit far from the big shopping malls but that's what uber is for!

My 3rd time here because of convenience, staff, neighborhood. Always accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and quiet most of the time. I changed rooms 2x to get a fridge and wifi better. They were sensitive to that. Thanks!

The staff is great I only had 3 days booked but booked 3 more days and now I'm planning on booking a few more days. So convenient to the tourist sites yet only about 80 Baht to the high-rent district shops and big malls. A little of the old Bangkok still lives here which is great. Very safe guard is always to welcome you. Ready to tend your needs.
