The location is OK but the hotel itself is not that great. We had a room at the back which we found was overlooked by the dormitories of the local workers. The front of the hotel is just as bad as it overlooks the street where traders and tourists are milling about all day. The manager is not the friendliest but the other staff are better. The restaurant looks OK but we did not eat in there once. The room was OK but a little basic. The tiling needs work in the bathroom and the shower goes from hot to cold and any time of day. The TV if that is important is an awful old CRT unit with a few English speaking channels. The Aircon was effective and bed not to bad. We had ants but no roaches as extra guests but it was not too much of an issue. The view over the dorms from the balcony is separated by a little stream that runs through a culvert, I thought it would be Mosquito he'll but it was not to bad, I did get a few bites though. The beach at Karon us excellent thought, way better than the beach at Patong. This beach makes up for the shortfall in the lack of pool at the hotel. Lastly we used phuketshuttle to take us to the airport at they are significantly cheaper that the hotel price for picking you up etc.

Vi fant dette hotel i 2008. Det var også like bra dengang som nå, og alle andre ganger, vi har vært der nå 8 ganger, like bra hver gang. God mat, Reint over alt, fantastisk STAFF, reiser vi til Phuket, bor vi kun på Hotel de Karon, vi har ingen ting å trekke ifra. 10 poeng av 10 mulige

I stayed here for 7 days and i was happy with what i paid for. Price is 100% cheap for the hotel standard compared to other hotels in Karon.

Hotel semplice ma funzionale anche per lunghi periodi. direttamente nel centro della parte più vivace del paese di Karon e vicino alla spiaggia. locali ben puliti camera spaziosa e luminosa grazie alla grande veranda. unica pecca la mancanza di una service room alla partenza.

Hotel tranquillo posizionato centralmente a tutto,non bisogna avere pretese,sia per pulizie,che rapporti con personale,colazione abbondante ma non di qualita',bisogna accontentarsi.

Hotel al centro della città con poche pretese, ma di recente ristrutturazione. Camera ampia con balcone molto arieggiata e luminosa. Pulizia nella norma, da rivedere gli asciugamani x il bagno che sono sfinito, ma si impegnano e li cambiano giornalmente.

Zum Start unserer Thailandrundreise haben wir zwei Nächte im Hotel de Karon verbracht. Hotel und Zimmer sind sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war mäßig. Nachts ist es rund um dem Hotel allerdings ziemlich laut. Die Gesänge aus der Karaoke-Bar hat man auch im Zimmer noch ziemlich laut gehört. Erst gegen 23Uhr wurde es dann wieder etwas ruhiger. Im großen und Ganzen hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen, die Umgebung war es die uns nicht so gut gefiel. Karon Beach ist sehr touristisch und auch ziemlich überlaufen.

Ett hotell där frukosten var undermålig, man fick in en liten tallrik, med 2 ägg 3 skivor bacon, 2 korvar, 1 skinkbit, 2 tunna skivor tomater och 2 rostbröd. Det fanns varmvatten till knappt en person att duscha i. Rummen var hyfsade eftersom vi hade rum mot berget. När det blåste slog plåten på taket hela riden, vilket gjorde det svårt att sova. AC som blåste rakt mot sängen, fungerade inte fullt ut på natten, vilket gjorde rummet väldigt varmt. När det gäller duschen så fick man vänta en stund innan nästa person kunde gå in för vattnet tog slut emellan åt också. Lika illa,med toaletten, efter en hade spolat fick man vänta en bra stund innan man kunde spola igen.

Två år nu, ett bra medelhotell med trevlig personal.

Hotel wird renoviert inkl.Küche ( kein Frühstück) bis im laufe Oktober !! Kann nicht normal bewertet werden !!

Ligger centralt belägen, inträngd i slutet av en bargata man störs dock inte särskilt mycket av ljuden utanför. Receptionisten kan engelska, men de andra anställda kan knappt ett jota.. Frukosten serverades oftast kall (ägg, bacon och korv) om man inte kom under "ruschen" runt 10 tiden.
