Malibu Beach Resort

This is a great resort that is ideal for people who are looking for a quiet and clean resort. Has a great restaurant, clean pool and good access to the beach. I recommend this resort and will definitely be staying here on my next visit.

Dear readers, The hotel overall experience was good. The staff and service was quite good and pleasing but, the hotel is quite outdated and needs a renovation.

Great location for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was good. Beds very comfortable and air con excellent. Fabulous to be right on the beachfront. Generally the property is a little tired looking. Lounges on the beach need to be replaced as very old. Drainage in the showers was poor. However, the great staff and the affordable accom made it a great value holiday! We would come back!

great location, right in the center shopping mall cross the road inside the mall have very nice and reasonable food court right on the beach front beautiful with soft white sandy beach clear water not too crowded very relaxing not a luxury resort but definitely worth your money recommended

Quiet and comfortable place in the busy chaweng. Good location to rest. Food and drinks are good but expensive. Nice beach.

Reception staff were outstanding! Always friendly, smiling,happy and greeting us each time we arrived back. Good english. Resort is Right on the beach. Across the road from shopping mall, plenty of restaurant options. Also lots of street shops. We hired a scooter from a lady right next to the hotel, plenty of hotel parking. Spacious bathroom facilities. Swimming pool was always very clean. Restaurant staff helpful. Buffet breakfast was simple, but offered to cook which ever type of eggs.

rooms are of highly variable quality. Mine was on the low side.

Lovely beach views from the bar. Room was great, very clean. Staff were extremely friendly, would stay again.

Small quiet hotel competing to the other hotels around. Nice garden between the rooms. The rooms themselves not so well maintained, the first room we got was in a bad shape so we got upgrade for a better one. Good location.

Mixed Experience at Malibu Resort Koh Samui The location of Malibu Resort is excellent – it’s right on the beach and directly across from the Koh Samui city center shopping mall. This makes it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the area. The beach itself is great for swimming, and several good restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. The rooms, however, are quite basic. While there is hot water and a balcony to relax on, the TV lacks Netflix or YouTube, so it’s not ideal if you’re looking for entertainment. That said, the rooms are functional and can serve well as a crash pad for those who just need a place to rest and unwind. A word of caution: be wary of the water jet scooter providers operating right on the beach in front of Malibu. We had a very unpleasant encounter with them. After inadvertently parking the scooter on the wrong section of the beach (which we weren’t informed about), they were extremely aggressive and shouted at us, ruining the mood of the day. Unfortunately, the resort staff had no affiliation with these vendors and couldn’t offer any assistance. It was a disappointing experience, especially since we were just trying to enjoy the day. I hope the resort management takes note of this and finds a way to ensure better interactions between guests and these third-party vendors. Overall, Malibu is a good spot if you’re looking for a convenient location with access to the beach and nearby amenities.

Great place, friendly staff and great location.

I live in the next island Koh Phangan. When I come to Samui I love staying at Malibu. Great staff. Lovely pool and restaurant in front of a great beach location. And walking distance from Central mall. Love the ambience and food and location and people. Highly recommended.

Perfect location on beachfront with plenty of seating options close to the water. Friendly helpful staff. Great location also close to other restaurants and bars.

Good location.

Great spot to stay. Solid place for the price as well. Would stay here again for a longer term. Don't be scared of the medium priced menu. Each meal could be split between a couple!
