Perfect location and you can rent a motorbike at the hotel for 200 baht / day. 5 min walk to tuk-tuk. 10 minutes walk to Phuket's finest beach. The hotel has a good and steady toilet which you will need if you eat in the restaurant in the hotel. There's plenty of good restaurants close to the hotel where you will find quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. Laundry service and taxi order service working smoothly. Make sure your room has a safe, and make sure you put any valuables there. Not all rooms have safe.

I stayed at the Orchid House in a standard room for 8 Nights during February 2015. This is the second time I have stayed at Orchid House and must say it is one of the best value for money hotels I have stayed in around Kata Beach.
The location is good, set in a nice area near shops, restaurants and bars only about 10 minutes walk to the beach.
The rooms are all very large for what is considered a budget hotel and in very good condition.
The reception staff are all very friendly, cheerful and very helpful.
Breakfast offers a selection of good quality European and Thai food.
The restaurant also offers a good selection of food and drink throughout the day.
The hotel and its public areas are very attractive in appearance and maintained to a very high standard.
I will return to Kata Beach next year and subject to availability will definitely be staying at Orchid House.
