Such a stunning hotel, great location, absolutely clean and aesthetically beautiful, very comfortable beds and an amazing shower, great service from the staff and had absolutely no issues. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Beautiful rooms! I love the fresh, stylish decor choices and the amazing giant shower and bathtub room. The location is so convenient and the room came with free after-7 tickets for the rooftop bar/viewpoint and included a bogo drink ticket for me and my spouse.
We didn’t try the bars or restaurants, but they were energetic in the evenings. Breakfast was fine but not amazing. You order a la carte off a set menu, which feels luxurious, but each dish arrived cold so it’s not actually any better than a buffet.
The breakfast cocktails were insanely overpriced. I got a Bellini with maybe half of a glass of sparkling wine and then the rest foam for around 450thb after taxes/surcharges.
Overall, we do recommend The Standard and will return for future trips or will try out their other locations.

Had such a great stay last dec, that I chose The Standard Bangkok for this latest trip. It was again another fantastic experience. Check in was quick and smooth, the service was warmth and fun. Room had a great view and the room tastefully designed visually and functionally. I love the ability to Chromecast my own videos on the TV as well as the awesome sounding B&O speakers playing my own tunes.
Despite all these amenities and amazing service (Staff acknowledges guests and always welcoming) , it was their professionalism and ability to manage a crisis situation that impresses me even more. My stay coincides with the earthquake tremors happening on 28 Mar. it was a trying day but the hotel handled the situation very well. Inspections conducted within the building after the incident to ensure safety, the staff was with guests to reassure everyone. It was well handled and chaotic. I saw some staff helped guests retrieve their luggages for their departures and they were very helpful. Makes me feel I can count on the hotel team during emergency situations. One girl even recognised I left the hotel in the morning and she was glad I made it back safely. Well done to the team! I googled and Mahanakorn Tower, being the tallest building in the city, is designed to withstand earthquakes.
My go to hotel in bkk now! Will be back.
