The stay was amazing! Very centrally located to the very few excursions that are offered. When staying in the area I would highly recommend. Everything is ordered via room service. The folks are very accommodating.

This hotel is comfortable with good facilities and an amazing view of Mt Ararat. It is on the main road, about a 10-15 min walk to the centre of town. I was able to get dropped off out the front by the mini bus from Agri, as it drove right past the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful in helping and breakfast was good. The only thing I didn't like is the bathroom light is on a sensor. This means you have to disconnect the electricity (by pulling your access card from the slot) if you don't want to be blasted with bright light while using the toilet at night. It also turns the light and fan on every time you walk past the door, which is a bit annoying. Not a deal breaker though as there are worse things and workarounds. I recommend staying here.

Great location to see Mount Ararat and Izaac Pasha Palace. I believe Grand Aga Hotel could reach 5 stars, however due to slow economic issues around the region, they are doing it’s best to survive. I believe they own the mart next door. Pros: Great Staff, great location, good breakfast, clean. Cons: Few minor issues regarding facility upkeep.
