Best location in Izmir. In front of the bay and fresh seafood restaurants on the bay. Beautiful sunsets from our balcony. Great extensive breakfast almost a brunch. Staff felt like a family community. Thanks!

Fantastic view of the sea. Best central location a couple of steps from the Kordon. Charming historic property. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Reasonably cheap for the great value you get.

Convenient to restaurants and shops. No top sheets on beds. Breakfast mediocre.

first night was bad, as we were given smoking room, and said do not have other rooms, and said hotel does not have non-smoking room, even though our reservation said non-smoking. Next morning, we got a call and said they have a room for us and witched us over, which was great room. This happened after we complained on hotels.com. So, 50/50 - first day bad, 2nd day service and room were excellent

Sea view rooms with balcony have amazing views and are very peaceful. The staff don't know English much but are nice. The hotel is very clean and upgraded. Lots to do in walking distance.

Fantastic location at the waterfront and excellent service matching the description of a 4 star hotel although a bit dated. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. We had a great stay, room was nice and breakfast was ample, good quality and tasty, including hot choices. We had a perfect 2-night stay with no complaints whatsoever. The only thing to consider is parking which may be free and advertised as valet parking, but basically involves bellboys taking your car and parking it in the streets around the hotel and bring it back when you need it. This is very convenient because it can be very tricky to find parking close to the hotel, but it is misleading because it is advertised as fee on-site self-parking but it is not as safe as implied. We had no issues, but I was nervous because I don't think bellboys are insured for driving cars around and if there was any accidental damage I am not convinced the hotel would accept liability. My score would be 10/10 if secure parking was available.

Great location.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days at the Izmir Palace Hotel on the advice of out Turkish friends. We had been traveling in Turkey for two months and needed a moment to relax before we returned to the US. Our room was attractive without being fussy, with a balcony looking out to the Aegean. What a joy to watch the glorious sunsets and wake up to the light on the ocean every day.The hotel was quiet, comfortable and clean and the staff unfailingly pleasant & helpful. The breakfast was abundant and delicious - çok lezzetli!- as was the dinner in the hotel restaurant. We could not have wished for more and, if we return to Izmir, we shall certainly come back to this quietly elegant and welcoming hotel. Teshekeler! Victoria & Marco Poletto
