Rixos Premium Bodrum

The setting and hotel itself was beautiful. The room we had was absolutely amazing. Food, drinks and service were very good, although it was end of season so limited on restaurants and choice of dishes.

Excellent room. We went during quiet season and some restaurants were closed but the main buffet restaurant was outstanding in terms of variety and really good quality. The beach area is lovely and the water sports facilities were a highlight.

We’ve stayed at Rixos Premium Bodrum multiple times and it never disappoints. The facilities, food and drink are excellent quality and you feel like you are in great hands with a fabulous team - Berken, Secil and Asya were very helpful with answering our questions and arranging things for us. We love lunch’s at Peoples overlooking the beach and taking the odd taxi into Bodrum. Thank you for another relaxing stay!

We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Rixos. The staff couldn't do enough for us. It was especially nice to have dedicated team members available to us on whatsapp. A special thanks to Yelda and Birkan who were on hand all of our stay. The food at the buffet and the Kalamata restaurant was delicious - really good quality and variety. The gym and activities were great and the beach and pool staff were so helpful in finding us beds and bringing drinks whenever we ordered. Every evening was different singing and music. A lovely relaxing stay.

I had a spectacular time staying Rixos Premium Bordrum. I received a room upgrade. Room was clean and huge with good view of beach from balcony. Omer was exceptional keeping me updated on events at the hotel and replies fast should I have questions or need assistance.

Rixos Bodrum is set in a stunning surrounding. The hotel is high quality with great facilities. We were not aware at time of booking that only the buffet restaurant and beach restaurant was included in the premium all inclusive package and you had to pay extra to use other restaurants (unlike other top hotels we have experienced where you get to use other restaurant’s during your stay), so please be aware of this - we booked via Expedia and this was not made clear. Otherwise the staff are all super friendly and helpful. Great family holiday destination.

We had a great time at Rixos Bodrum with our 3 year old son. Best bits: The beach was perfect for us. Beautiful water, calm, sandy, backing on to natural olive and palm trees. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything needed. The place generally had quite a premium feel. Service was good, staff go out of their way to help you. Holiday assistant is a good concept and Yelda and Berkan were always there to help us with any requests. Everything else was really good too, except for a few points that could have been better… We were attracted to the hotel’s natural setting and were disappointed by the road noise you could hear from the balcony on the room. They did try their best to move us to another room further from the road but none were suitable as either had no view or were in very busy part of the hotel next to the lobby. Ultimately we put up with the road noise. Most of the a la carte restaurants were expensive addons. We knew this so can’t complain but do think it is something they should address by offering lower rates or perhaps a limited number of visits with no charge.

Great place and friendly staff.

Lovely property. This is my fourth time staying here (first time with child). Staff in general is welcoming and kind. Food is delicious. Facility is well maintained. Grass is nice. Beach is nice in general. Sea needs more frequent cleaning. However our experience was less pleasant this time, we had a few problems: (1) Kids club manager lady was extremely rude and very unpleasant. She humiliated and insulted our toddler in front of everyone- just because a toddler wanted to play with some balls. We did not make a problem at first, but after three days of rude behavior, especially towards my husband, we had to complain. Rixos is supposed to represent Turkish hospitality and they are number 1 in luxury segment within Accor group. So I highly suggest they employ Turkish staff who can represent Turkish hospitality. (This lady was not Turkish, so she does not have a sense of Turkish hospitality). (2) the kids club program schedule shown at the entrance never actualized, it’s basically misleading. (3) although we stayed in the highest room category, grand executive room, shower was full with black mold. I saw it while taking a shower, they immediately changed our room. But it was basically a loss of 1 evening of holiday for us -repacking, waiting for a new room, unpacking again. Could not even have dinner. (4) in the new room, the whole night we listened to the wood bugs (living inside tables). Humidity problem. It’s a nice place, we have been a bit unlucky this time.

The property is

Hotel was nice enough, nice rooms and facilities. But it was let down by its service. Many staff do not speak English making it hard to communicate. Also there was an incident in its kids club where a kid went missing!

Great service, location and standard of room. However poor quality of food offering in the buffet restaurant and people’s restaurant. Limited choice of food and most of it was served cold. The Italian al a carte option was considerably better. The hotel had one white, red and rose wine option and sadly the white and rose wine were always served warm.

Lovely hotel - staff are very friendly , attentive and helpful,. We stayed before the start of the season so didn’t feel busy in any of the areas or issues with service . Pool and beach areas are very nice and relaxing and all the main areas of the hotel are light open and spotlessly clean . Great place to relax staying in the grounds but you will need a taxi or car to go into Bodrum . Not a walkable distance or anything to walk to near the hotel and it’s off a busy highway . Taxi to Bodrum is not expensive though and approx 15 mins away . Reception can get taxis easily . There is plenty of food choices for the main restaurant which is set up like all inclusive buffets are which will give enough variety if not a long stay . They will cook you fish or steak to order at the grill section which is very good . The other restaurants onsite if they are open you need to pay extra for . The hotel is set over a large well kept lush grounds which are very hilly up and down and some rooms are further away from the main hotel . Complimentary buggy’s are regularly available but if mobility issues be mindful of the layout and best room locations . A very pleasant hotel option though for the outskirts of Bodrum and for those with children seems to be a nice kids club onsite .

The aircon did not work and when asked we were informed that the entire property had only heating. Had to spend 6 nights in heat, sleep was compromised
