A bar of soap was left stuck to the tub from the prevoous occupant. The room also smelled a little musty and felt a little damp.

This hotel is pretty run down - blinds in room broken, ice machine out of order, air conditioning not working well in halls and lobby, pretty worn.

Pool hours. Nice carpeting and window shades. Remote was troublesome. No fruit for breakfast.

Pool was cold. Hot tub was luke warm

Dried spots on sheets and pillowcases. Dirty hand prints on bathroom walls

The room was clean for the most part except our fridge was broke it froze everythg and the knob was broke off inside so u couldnt adjust it and the bath tub need replaced it was discolored due to excessive wear on it . I realy didnt feel safe there there was always guys standing outside the entrance to the building

Room was nice, but went to go have a couple drinks at the bar and no one was there. We waited a good 15-20min before going to hyvee and instead had drinks in our room.

Bathroom was not cleaned. Toilet was noticably used and floors were not vacuumed. We laid towels on the floor to walk just in case. White stain on carpet was noticable furniture was in rough repair. Hallways or back exit areas were not vacuumed.

The room I got was ok but bed didn’t look made well. The chair in the room (lazy boy) was broken. The shower head barely had pressure. The fridge in the room was dripping water and didn’t keep anything cold. Their coffee in the morning was horrible. And they didn’t even open the breakfast one day we were there. And then the next few days they had stale baked good and a gentleman said don’t eat the sausage cause it had a weird smell and taste. Also my Crewmans room when we got there was already used and dirty and after asking the front desk they said there’s nothing they can do so he had to sleep in his chair till room service cleaned the room the next day. I will never stay here again!! Also they say they charge you 50.00 for a hold on damages but then randomly they charge you 66.00.

The breakfast was very good, with a full range of standard options (including sausage and eggs) despite it being a weekday in Algona, Iowa. The staff was friendly & accomodating. Very pleasant experience.

We were crunched for time and allowed to check in early. Yes 10.00 charge but it was worth it us. We stayed here 2 yrs ago and will continue to stay here when visiting family in the area. Service top notch.

Walked in and was fussed at for using Expedia. I asked for early check in and the guy had no clue. Thankfully the room was ready. Got to the room and the fireplace doesn’t work. The door also had a crack that you could see into the hallway between the frame and the door. Staff was rude the whole time and hardly ever looked us in the face or spoke to us unless spoken to. Didn’t charge us for a hold the first two nights but put a hold on for the third night. Then after we left they tried 3 times in as many hours to charge us an additional $50. Room wasn’t bad but not great. Hair in the bathtub and an empty alcohol bottle in a side table. They also won’t drop the hold on the card without stating why. Pool was also freezing and the jacuzzi didn’t work properly. We were not notified about the jacuzzi. The “bar” that they advertise for is drinks in a cooler behind the counter. No lounge like advertised and they didn’t have everything they advertised for. The lady clearly didn’t know what we were asking for. Also was accused of smoking very rudely.

Staff was rude, came to our room and accused us of smoking, going so far as to threaten to call the fire department. They could have happily done so as nobody was smoking in the room. We did have to walk past people smoking directly outside the front doors nearly every night of our stay however. Moreover, they tried to upcharge the room we got on Expedia saying “it’s the wrong SKU” despite it being THE SAME ROOM we were in from my wife’s prior booking, with the same listing. If you have no other options, and there is fire raining from the sky, stay someplace else

Didn’t realize towels weren’t replaced but facilities were very goid

Rooms were decent, but my room had issues. Sink faucet dident work. The jacuzzi had bugs crawling out of the drain all over the bottom of the tub… made me nervous. The price I paid for the room dident reflect the quality.

Nice place to stay

Clean, quiet and reasonable. Will stay there again

Like staying there.
