No hot water on the first morning, had issues with the pool before our arrival. Rooms are clean and overall a nice hotel, have stayed there many times without issue before thos, and would still stay there again

My husband & I & quite a few friends have stayed here every Memorial Weekend for many years. I had an appointment an hour away early the next morning. I decided to come a day early & stay at AmericInn since I know it’s safe, clean with a friendly staff. Kewanee is a nice, safe little too

Property is beginning to look worn and ventiliation apparently does not work in most bathrooms. We were told that is because Wyndham is beginning the process of renovation and certain systems have either worn out or been shut down. We visit Kewaunee each year in September, so are eager to see what improvements will look like in 2025.

We stay here when we come into town. We are very pleased with the amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. The only suggestion I have would be to place a park bench outside the front entrance and install an automatic door at the entrance to the lobby.

Kewanee is an old and tired town. This hotel reflects it. The wash and sink area is very small which makes getting ready for the day difficult with two people in the room. The hvac unit was odorous when trying to use the heating component. But, these things are doable when the staff is as courteous and efficient as the staff we encountered during our stay. An updated remodel would be nice though.

Hotel is definitely older, which is fine. The problem is our room smelt awful and musty. The air didn’t help with the level of humidity, carpet and bed sheets felt damp.
