Bally’s Shreveport Casino and Hotel

The property was nice. However, my room smelled like smoke and the carpet needed cleaning, i only had 1 face towel and 1 wash towel. But the bed slept great.

Convenient location from highway and downtown. Large room with Jacuzzi, river view. Huge casino area. Next to other park casino. Friendly staff.

This is a hotwl that was probably amazing during its prime. Its long past its prime. 1. Lobby smelled like bug spray 2. Beyond limited dining options. There is a cafe, an expensive steakhouse and a noodle restaurant. 3. The rooms... well house keeping does not come daily to make up your bed, tidy the room, refill toiletries or the half ass coffee in the room. When we called the front desk we were told that they arent allowed to go into the rooms and havent done that since covid. In my daughters room the hot and cold water were backwards so the whole bath thing wasn't pleasant. In my bathroom, the shower door didn't want to close. 4. When we called the front desk about house keeping, we were told that they would send someone up with clean towels, toiletries and coffee. What we got was a a plastic laundry bag with sugar, 2 coffee packs, 4 mini bottles of water and it delivered to the door by someone who looked homeless. 5. They have "resort" fees but its not a resort. There is nothing to do but gamble. No buffet, no pool, no arcade. The Bally's store stayed closed. That's the only shopping. So maybe it should be a "casino" fee instead of a "resort" fee. 6. Valet is closed. No valet. 7. Nowhere to really plug a CPAP in and use it effectively. Some of the oulets in the room didnt work. I had to use my battery pack to charge my phone. Because i needed the wall outlet to plug my cpap in and needed part of the bed to put my CPAP on since there was no night stand on that side.

while the room was fine and they are really trying but the place needs updating. It seems to be understaffed with one bell hop and one luggage cart. almost impossible to get someone on the phone if you need something for your room - you have to go to the front desk.

I LOVED our room! It was just a standard king but you would have thought it was a suite. Absolutely beautiful and sooo comfortable! The casino was great and everyone was very friendly. We will certainly be back!
