Liked proximity to Daytona Speedway.
Disike: first given keys to an occupied room, next keys to second room did not work, had to return to front desk, mold smell, poorly maintained building, new paint all over carpet, shower valve dripped a night, caulking missing all around bathroom, no drinking cups/ice bucket in room, no ice machine, TV did not work, light switches to nothing, two receptacles did not work, no coffee machine, no microwave, only one chair at the desk, no other chair in the room. Fridge not cold at all. And finally, at check in they said there is a $100 deposit required, not announced at booking time

Don’t try it! Go across the road to Best Western. I have never left a place before but could not do this. The hallways reminded me of a prison, terrible conditions, the room was full of roaches. Staff was very nice when we told them we needed to leave.

I contacted the property to confirm my arrival time (11pm). I received texts that afternoon welcoming me to the property, i replied that i had not checked in. When I arrived, no reservation was found with my name. I probided my booking number, showed my phone. Called expedia, they called the motel, the rep said there was nothong he could do. I had to cancel my booking and book a room directly. The room was much nicer than the hallways appeared. Pillows were horrible, but otherwise the beds were fine. A continental.breakfast was available.

It has being the worse hotel I had stay … Dirty, loud doors all time of hours at night. No Pool when clearly stated that they have a pool.. In the morning I check out at 7:00am and they didn’t even had cups for the coffee…. I’ll never stay there again.

When I finally got a room 2 and a half hours after I got there it was clean. Person on duty said he would notify cleaning staff to make up the room. I told him I'd be back in an hour. I was gone 2 1/2 hours and the room still wasn't made up or cleaned. The new manager on duty later gave me another room that was ok.

Staff member Paul, on the weekend, he was not friendly at all and instead helping me, the customer, he was eager to make my life difficult. That’s not how customer service should be at a hotel. It was a simple and small request as, to hold a UPS package I was getting to do the work I was doing in Daytona. Good thing after other phones calls I had to make I was able to resolve BUT not with him.

Stayed out of necessity. Room was dirty. Bathroom was dirty and tub wouldn’t drain. And tub was dirty. Visible mold on walls and baseboards. Beds sink in the middle. Wouldn’t even use the water to brush my teeth.
