Everything was super dated. Cable barely worked tv was smaller than my monitor all fixtures leaked. Scrached teflon poor kichen stuff

Quiete and conveniente

Was traveling with my husband and 3 adult children so needed a place for 5 of us. This hotel was great in that we had two queen beds and a murphy bed as well as a living area and kitchen. We were just there for one night be it was great. Afternoon reception and continental breakfast were appreciated! Will recommend and/or return again.

Hotel was reasonably priced. We liked the small kitchenette in the room. Two comfortable queen size beds in a large room. The bathroom was big too. Breakfast was pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal and coffee which was okay. Really liked the happy hour - wine and cheese and biscuits - we would meet up in the foyer for a drink after our day out. At night the sirens and people shouting in the street kept us awake but we aren’t used to city living. Found we could walk to the tram or get an uber and even a driverless car very easily and reasonably to travel around. Parking at the hotel is extra and we had a car overnight for one night - the hotel take the car and keys off site - this worked well as they said leave up to half an hour to get the car in the morning which we did.

Hotel was a nice stay. It is an older building. Staff was friendly. TV quality was not the best but the room was clean. I stayed in the suite room, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, kitchen was clean and had plates available for us to use. Overall it was a good stay. Only critique is the breakfast, it was just bread options, coffee, and some fruits. We were under the impression it would be a full breakfast option the look on my little sisters face was priceless when she saw the options so it gave me a good laugh.

The hotel is clean and has friendly staff, which is convenient for shopping and sightseeing.

My sister and I stayed at the Beresford arms while our father went through a very rough surgery at UCSF. They always asked how he was doing, kept our room incredibly clean, and the male staff always made sure my sister and I made it into the hotel and our room safely at night. I will forever recommend the Beresford arms to anyone, and stay there for any future trips to San Francisco.

Great location and room. Breakfast was less than expected and not really bfast.

Ok hotel - old but maintained and reasonable. Unfortunately the radiator kept making loud noises all night intermittently. No sound proofing which means hearing street noise despite 7th floor (but somewhat expected for an inner city hotel).

The Beresford was an old downtown hotel, but clean and well staffed. One old slow elevator but it functions. Breakfast was simple but tasty with fresh rolls, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, juice and coffee. Staff were friendly and responsive to needs and requests.

Probably great in it's prime. Spacious rooms with a good location that is central to most other districts. Kitchen. The free tea and wine in the afternoon is something unique and appreciated. Unfortunately, customer service seems to be based on a reactive or subjective mindset. No one was outright rude but rather either very matter of fact or at times leaning towards annoyed. Clearly long wait times for your valet car has been a repetitive issue that staff resolve by referring to the print on the valet claim ticket. If I were the owner/manager, I would train my staff and create better messaging tools to more proactively call out the issue rather than leave the issue as a potential source of contention between staff and guests. They also did not bother to explain that pricing for parking depends on the size of your vehicle and that there is a daily 'valet tax.' I had to call out the two items on my bill before getting an explanation of why, no apology for the lack of earlier explanation to help manage my expectations. They also mischarged me on another item that after removing the entire bill changed with different rates. Again, no apology but rather first a couple of matter of fact denials of any changes to finally fixing the problem with a "Good thing you checked your bill twice." One of the bathroom's double vanity sinks didn't work. Rundown motel beds, paint peeling, no room temp control, TV hanging, etc. Same price, another hotel
