We have tried other hotels in the area over the years. This was our first time here and we loved it! The front desk lady was so nice, she also nicely helped another guest who asked to change rooms. The lady helping with breakfast was so sweet too!! We wanted to use the pool but didn’t get there in time. Hopefully on the way back!

Rooms were clean and even though the hotel was full it was very quiet. The view of Mt Shasta and Lassen were also an extra treat.

Place was packed, but you’d never know it. We didn’t hear anything within the walls of our room. Pool was a bit leaf-filled, but understandable considering how windy it was. Enjoyed our mid-roadtrip stay.

Overall a great experience, kind staff and amazing service. If I had to nitpick I would have to be that there where ants in room on desk table. Don’t blame staff or hotel, looks like someone spilled something behind or around mini fridge.

Staff was very nice however the room was in rough shape. Closet doors broken. Odd smells throughout the hotel. We had infestation of ants in our room. Wanted to tell the front desk at check out so they could fix it before next guests but there was no one there to talk to.

We checked in late, around 9pm. They had not kept the room AC on, so it took almost the entire night for the room to cool down, very uncomfortable sleeping
