Beverly Laurel Hotel at West Hollywood

The location was safe and clean and the staff were wonderful. It’s not as up to date as the photos reflect though! If you’re looking for a clean, inexpensive, safe, budget-friendly, no frills place, this is your place! We felt safe there, had everything we needed, staff were overly helpful and gracious! It’s very quiet! It was an experience for sure!

I had to ask 2 days in a row to have my room cleaned even though I asked at the desk each morning. They charge a "resort fee" for cleaning and parking but are reluctant to actually provide this service!

Fun and quaint vibe. Mid-century modern motif. Clean pool. Was happy with room size and layout. However my AC did not work. I had two units, and neither functioned. But, that was only a minor inconvenience.

Loved the retro theme and idea but the property is very limited and lightly staffed. Was checked into a dirty room at first, then had to stay in a two queen for one night. Appreciated the staff trying to resolve the problem quickly.

Couch and bed mattress were wore out!!!! No support. Construction noise next door at 7 am to 6 pm. Walls are very thin hear conversation in other rooms. Good servixe, location, and parking valet

The staff was excellent but that is where it ends. I was truly disappointed in the room's cleanliness, the noise, and the lack of amenities. I also got a bug bite. I ended up changing hotels but I will say I appreciate the front desk staff handling my early departure with grace.

They didn’t communicate to me what I needed to bring with me at the time of checking in after I called the hotel three times for a confirmation. As a courtesy, I wasn’t reminded by the receptionist at the front desk to bring the required documents such as a physical credit card. I have a credit card, but it’s digital., but they didn’t accept it. They refused to give me my room regardless of me already paying for it at the time I made the reservation (a week ago). I had to borrow the debit card that belonged to my seventeen year old son. I arrived to the hotel exhausted after driving on the freeway for eight hours.

Loved this accommodation, bed was comfy and close walking distance to the Grove.

Staff is nice but there is no bathroom exhaust fan

We couldn't use the room toilet, no maintenance at the hotel, we cancel our plan for this day

My new favorite place to stay in WeHo for biz. Love the hotel layout w rooms around the pool, and mid-century modern attention to detail. Gotta love the “I Love Lucy” on the loop on that old fashioned TV!

Very nice simple and park your own car!

The hotel was conveniently located in the middle of the West Hollywood area which is pretty safe. The staff at the hotel are all top notch from the valet personnel, front desk team, maids, etc. Each one of them goes out of their way to accommodate you and were always polite to us. Valet parking was easy and we always had a parking space available to us whenever we arrived. We did take a few walks around the building and it was generally safe to walk to the local convince store, goodwill, or nearby restaurants. It has a highly-ranked diner restaurant connected to the building. It's a little expensive but features great tasting food and a nice staff. This is a plus. We had a generally good experience staying at the Beverly Laurel but I did want to provide a few points of constructive feedback so the hotel can continue to make improvements and grow: 1.All rooms should feature a safe in the room to lock up valuables. We could not locate one in our room and wanted to secure some valuables. This is a standard feature of other hotels. 2. All rooms should feature a security chain lock on the doors for extra safety. This is a standard feature of other hotels. 3. The bathroom inside of our room had issues with ventilation causing it to steam up after 1 shower. Even opening the window did little to help this. I recommend the hotel invests in a bathroom ventilation fan. Overall, we would recommend staying at this hotel since it provides a good value for families.

Lovely stay. Easy and convenient, especially with the diner downstairs and free valet parking! Much appreciated, would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect however there was a strong cleaning supply odor in the room
