Cabernet House, An Old World Inn

We had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing.

The rooms were very old and dingy and had a musty smell. there was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom and dripping on to the floor. It was too late in the night when we checked in so we couldn’t change rooms. Hosts were very welcoming in the morning and breakfast was decent in the morning. I guess they would have changed our rooms if we had brought it up in the morning, but we were checking out anyways, so we let it go.

Easy check in, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable room.

Place needs a remodeling. It is clean but walls doors need a painting. Restroom is rusty and old.

Unfortunately, my experience at this bed and breakfast was impacted by the host's unfriendly demeanor. From the moment we arrived, We felt more like an inconvenience than a guest. There was minimal warmth or hospitality from the woman who is apparently the wife of the chef ( couple owns the B&B) , which is especially disappointing in a setting where personal interaction is a key part of the experience. The husband was nice to us, the food was actually lovely , the accommodations themselves were adequate, (they dont mention that half of the B&B is another next door house, so my friends room had a basement feel) but the lack of welcoming atmosphere made the stay uncomfortable, with every interaction. I hope the host considers the importance of creating a more inviting environment for future guests.

Great service and a quiet, charming atmosphere. We were within walking distance of downtown and the wine tasting reception was well more than a taste and breakfast was amazing!

6 ladies two rooms. We had a wonderful experience at this bed and breakfast. Old world rooms with a delicious breakfast that played and served each morning. It was outstanding! Very walkable to downtown. Felt very safe and well lit up at night. Will definitely stay again.

Its name explains something. Old bathtub, old electric outlets. No smart TV. But friendly staff.

Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Cabernet House was a wonderful place to stay. Its location is great, it was quiet, comfortable, clean and the breakfast was great.

Walkable location with nice quirly rooms.

The Host of the house was very accommodating and friendly . I enjoyed the quiet evening and the comfortable bed. Coffee was served at 6am and Breakfast was delicious it was a short 20 minute walk to down town Napa. There was a Mexican fast food and market just 10 minute walk from your room

Fabulous 2 night getaway in a quiet location. We stayed in the cottage outback. It’s an easy drive or moderate walk to the Napa waterfront and our host was super nice. The breakfast was amazing!
