Candlewood Suites ERLANGER - SOUTH CINCINNATI by IHG

The staff was really nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our night stay.

The biggest issue we had was checking in. We arrived to check in at 3:10. We were told our room was not ready and to come in 1.5 hrs. So we went to Trudeau and came back 3 hrs later. So we arrive back at 6:00 to find out our room still isn’t ready. He suggested we go to dinner and that he had no idea when it would be ready. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience. And we noticed an army of ants eating on something in the floor of our room. So apparently they didn’t do a very good job cleaning it either. Being it was our 28th anniversary I have to say this was a huge disappointment of our getaway.

Came to check in at 3pm and was told rooms were not ready. Front desk took my phone number and said they would call me when it was ready. An hour later, i had not heard from them so I called. I was told it still was mot ready. I waited until 530pm and I still hadn't heard anything so I called again. I was told my room was ready, I asked if I could have a late checkout since i basically had to waste time around the area since i came from 3 hours away and I was told "Absolutely not, we are fully booked tomorrow too" I was not offered anything for them not being prepared for me when their website states check in starts at 3pm. The room is nice, but as someone who traveled a long distance, it was frustrating to have to just wander around or wait in my car for 2 and a half hours in the pouring rain.

I was coming off a flight that was delayed and extremely exhausted. I went to check in at 3 but room was not ready. Tried again at 4 and still not ready. I sat waiting for a room until 6pm THREE HOURS after check in. No one seemed to think this was a big deal. I always stay here when I am in town because it is always clean. I was disappointed in the service this time.

Paper thin walls. Could here walking above me the entire time we were in our room. Very loud and annoying

Marvelous because shampoo/conditioner/hand soap all gentle dove and no overpowering odor from cleaning products or air fresher. Important when you’re very sensitive to both. Also curtain curved around to completely block out light! What a bonus.

Wonder easy check in and room was so clean and comfortable very impressed We came for a baseball tournament and stayed here.

It was nice and clean , very good for the price . I didn’t appreciate being charged $75 to have a pet in the room . I wasn’t aware of it until I checked in

Our stay was a great experience. Staff was nice, and always upfront not in the back hiding. Our room was clean comfortably and cool. Air conditioning was really cold, I loved that, my hubby not so much. One con thing I would say about our room, the water pressure is low. So if your out and about sweating and getting yourself dirty it will take you a bit to fully complete your sshoer..LOL.

Room was clean, lots of room. Bed and pillows were comfortable and desk staff very friendly. We had everything we needed to rest up for our next day of travel.
