My wife and I have come to the catamaran since our honeymoon in 2019 and we enjoy it every time. It is very peaceful and we already look forward to next year.

This was the perfect family and friends getaway. The hotel is incredibly family friendly with a scavenger hunt to do for the kiddos, birds on property to learn about and enjoy a small show, pool, arcade, beach fun and so many activities. Location was perfect as the kids played all day on the beach, enjoyed paddle boards and sunsets on the beach as well. The food on the premises was great and all staff was incredibly attentive and kind. We had the best time! We will for sure be coming back!

If you want a little piece of Hawaii, the Catamaran reminds me so much of it! The people are all very friendly and it is truly a resort in that you don't have to leave the resort to have a wonderful time. There are so many activities available in the dining and cocktail venues are perfect. It seems like you're in another time and place... it's a ephemeral and Tiki and tropical! They have things for families to do, but they also have activities at the water for everyone. The Bahia Belle cruise is so much fun. We love Oceana and also the adjoining cocktail bar. they have their own small bird sanctuary of tropical birds and one actually said, " Hi. What's your name?" to me! We did not want to leave .

We originally booked a resort view but as it was our 15th Anniversary they upgraded us to the tower overlooking the parking garage with a semi view of both the ocean and bay. I was skeptical after reading some reviews but we had our 3 daughters with us and the kitchenette came in handy. The rooms are outdated but clean and the bed seemed new / comfortable. We stayed July 3rd thru the 7th. Wasn't anything to do with the hotel but we heard illegal fireworks all night/every night, along with police sirens. One of the tower elevators was also out of order so we either had to wait in line for the one working elevator or depending on what we were carrying, take the stairs 8 stories up/down.
The restaurant on site was expensive but there are other options within walking distance. Being right on the bay is why we chose this resort and it did not disappoint. Felt comfortable letting the kids swim and paddleboard. Overall, we all agreed that we'd stay there again if we are in the area.

Catamaran Resort and Spa is situated well for a beautiful bayfront experience with the family. The bayfront was well-kept with the grounds clean, and the sidewalk that lines the bay was wide enough for pedistrians, bikers, skates, and scooters to share.
Service was excellent with friendly, professional staff, paying attention to timely responses with guest needs.
However, we stayed in the tower building, and it needs a makeover. The hotel's age is hard to miss. The sliding screen door leading to the balcony was broken. We didn't bring attention to the finding because we had no intentions to utilize the balcony. The toilet bowl lacked water pressure to flush, requiring us to hold down the lever and flush twice. By the second night, we had to call housekeeping to clear the toilet. Like mentioned before, staff responded timely. Additionally, all of the furniture, kitchen appliances, and carpeting show their age. For the price of the nightly rate, we didn't feel the luxurious claim.
Would we return? Yes, overall we enjoyed our vacation, and nothing beats their property's location to enjoy the PB boardwalk and bay activities.

The property needs updating, paint peeling, furniture is out dated. The location is awesome, right on the bay and a block from the beach and eateries. The staff were friendly, overall. Housekeeping was very inconsistent, had to call for items missed every day and didn’t get service on some days during our stay.

Great landscaping and proximity to Parks, but the rooms and facilities were dated and smelled old. A few broken items in our room (sliding door, tub drainage) and the smell of pot smoke from other floors ruined the family friendly atmosphere portrayed on their website. The surrounding area is a bit seedy feeling as well. Overall, a disappointment, especially for the price.

Terrible property! Rooms need updated. Nothing is located well. Don’t believe price on here will get a $300 bill for parking when checking in, and $700 in resort fees after check out! Shower was broke. Room was hot!

My husband, two kids (7 and 4) had the best time here for our week stay. There was so much to do on site when we weren’t site seeing. It’s conveniently located to all things you’ll need and want to do and it was a great experience.

Our family loved our time at the beautiful Cataraman Resort and Spa. The property is breathtakingly beautiful. We loved the tropical grounds, fish ponds, and birds on the property. The staff was welcoming and very responsive. We highly recommend this resort!
