We loved every minute of our three day stay at Cave Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room had a bathroom and fireplace as well. The mountain views are amazing and the B&B is close to many wineries, breweries, antique shops, caverns, Shenandoah National Park, etc. The best part is the incredible breakfast that Jordan prepared every morning. I can't wait to return! Such a special place!

We found Cave Hill Farm B&B online, and we're so happy we did! It's a charming place out in the farming and brewery country a few miles from Harrisonburg and James Madison University, but quiet and peaceful. The house is loaded with history and all the rooms are beautiful. Jordan and Kyle are the hosts and they are wonderful. We mostly worked with Jordan during our stay as we were there during the middle of the week, and she is lovely, accommodating and met every need -- and she makes a great breakfast! We got to know her gregarious puppy Ari also!. If you want a few days away from it all and just to unplug without a lot of fanfare where you can just admire the beautiful farm country and appreicate skilled and charming inkeepers in a lovely old farmhouse, Cave Hill Farm won't disappoint! I didn't add a photo b/c it looks exactly like th pic in the Hotels.com pic shown here.

We tripped across this accidentally. It is a family-run 1830s house. The breakfast was excellent.

The mansion is beautiful and has nice views. I did not the expect the cows to be that close to the property, so the smell of cow manure took a bit of the charm away.

We absolutely love our 5 nights stay here at this beautiful 1830 farmhouse B&B. It is in the middle of a farming community, so quiet and serene, the perfect place to rest and relax after our days of hiking at the Shenandoah Park. Kyle and Jordan, the innkerpers are very attentive and accommodating to our needs/ requests Jordan prepares very hearthy and nutritious and delicious breakfasts, my fave was the avocado toast with egg. We chose the bridal room for the jacuzzi which was perfect to soak after an all day hike. It's also at the corner of the manor which was quiet and has view from each side.

Great property, a pre-Civil War mansion of a working farm. Tons of character, even a small museum in the basement. The area is beautiful, the property well kept, and the room we had was excellent. The best of all was the young couple that manages the property. Nice young people, great hosts. They made us feel welcome. And the breakfast was really great. Would we stay again? You bet! And probably will.

Fabulous historic property in a stunning setting (gorgeous sunset & sunrise with the backdrop of the mountains). 5th generation owners who have honoured their family history in the decor. Jordan & Kyle were very welcoming & helpful. Jordan catered for an allergy at breakfast. Homemade waffles, eggs & bacon were perfect. We wish we could have altered our plans to add another night just to enjoy the property. Highly recommend.

We had been driving through bands of torrential rain when we arrived at Cave Hill Farm…total peace, beauty, kindness, history! This is such a beautiful, stately antique colonial home!! We reserved a room that happened to be the bridal suite! The bed had been handcrafted in England (canopy bed!). Such nice hosts who told us all about the home and gave us tokens to use at the farm’s brewery where we had a great dinner later. We took a nice walk past corn fields to see the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, slept well in the quiet setting last night, and woke to a beautiful breakfast served in the dining room. We highly recommend this gentle place in the Shenandoah Valley. It could be a destination all its own or a beautiful surprise along the way as part of a longer trip. It also could be fun for a group of family and friends!! We will be back!

My husband and I loved our one night stay at the Cave Hill Farm. We received a warm welcome by our host Jordan who gave us a lovely tour of the house and told us about its unique history. The house and the common areas are beautiful. We were in the Gold room, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and had lovely views of the farmlands and mountains. We got an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was homemade pancakes, bacon, eggs, and fruit. It was delicious. They took special care to mind everyone's dietary concerns and provide alternatives. Other times of the day, you could find tea or coffee, and snacks in the dining area and they also had a communal fridge and filtered water. There are plenty of games available too. We had fun playing Scrabble in the evening. The location is perfect for visiting Skyline Drive or visiting any of the local caverns. Cave Hill Farm also has a sister brewery just a short drive or walk away. We took advantage of that as we arrived on a rainy/foggy night and didn't want to stray too far on the winding country roads. They had a variety of beers and sandwiches, wings, burger type options for dinner. There was also a band and a museum of old farm equipment. We'd highly recommend Cave Hill to anyone in search of a serene home base for visiting the Shenandoah area.
