Cedar Point Express never disappoints. They are super helpful with accommodating and the beds are comfortable. The room has everything we need. We have stayed every year for three years now. It's an annual trip and we always choose CPEx

The staff was so kind there was a mildew smell on the third floor right out of the elevator that lingered like a moldy smell for a few seconds when you go down the hallway to your room. We purchased two rooms and neither phone worked, but we did not need the service of the staff except during check-in and they were wonderful! The area is good enough. It’s not a bad area. It’s less than 10 minutes from Cedar point, which is convenient. The area overall is nice and during the drive to Cedar point entrance you can see Lake Erie on both sides. It’s very pretty and the beautiful houses on the drive. Don’t forget Cedar Point at night is awesome to look at from a distance across the lake. There are no views of cedar point from the hotel, nor are the views of the lake. If you want to upgrade to that luxury, you have to upgrade your hotel at Cedar Point. Nice pool side area.. quiet in the morning a nice place to go have a cup of coffee and chill out in a nice way to wind the evening down after a day at Cedar Point. No breakfast is served or continental breakfast offered. For what it is, it’s very pricey, but of course that would happen with an amazing amusement park that owns the hotel as well. Overall, it’s a great spot to lay your head. The rooms come with a mini fridge with a freezer in it, which helped us with traveling and storing frozen foods for our next hotel. Rooms also include a microwave and a coffee maker.

I used 3rd party to make reservation. Expedia charged me 450 in extra charges. Then the hotel charged me 50 for deposit and 225 for the room still. This was charged on my card on a Saturday. So after purchasing the room 1017 dollars was charged to my card. I dont know how much will go back to my card. The room on expedia said 282. But expedia sayinf im only getting 302 back. Which would be 152 than they quoted. And the hotle sais ill get my deposit of 50 back. What about the 225? Im on vacation with my kids. The exta 700 plus in charges has made this vacation a headache i my card got declined because of all these extra hidden fees.

Rating would have been higher but there was a power outage for a while and I was shocked that the hotel did not have a backup generator (or if they had one it didn't work). Would stay there again still but that was disappointing.

Second floor hallways smelt musky, rooms were good. Front desk worked hard to get us into our rooms when the power went out. Pool was closed when we left but they offered us access to Hotel Breakers to use their facilities. Overall good stay.

The location is nice and close to Cedar Piont and you get early entry for staying here. The bad and pillows were uncomfortable, there was mold next to the bathroom door and we got ants in our snack bag from sitting on the floor in our room.

Waited until midnight for a crib. I knocked out with my baby in my hands since they took forever. On top of that we were sweating because there was no power due to the storm. As well as having teenagers run amd play hide-n-seek in the hallways. Definitely a good expereince!

Location was excellent, very close to Cedar Point. Check in was easy and staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was average. Housekeeping was inconsistent- one day the service was excellent, the next day they didn’t make one of the beds and didn’t take the dirty towels from the room. Overall the room was very humid and damp to the point where the carpet and beds felt damp. We asked about it at the front desk and they said it was a common issue, likely because of the time of year we were visiting. The visit was fine but I would spend a bit more for something nicer like the Holiday Inn Express next door if I was to return.

Room was small, bed was uncomfortable. When we arrived, there was a whole sports team staying there that took over the pool, lobbu, and hallways. They partied until early in the am right outside our room. Sea gulls were everywhere and that kept us up as well. Kids enjoyed the pool until a bunch came out and started rough housing. It seemed there was a pool attendant, but he was not keeping an eye on the rude kids nor saying anything to them. The hotel was very close to Cedar point which was the draw for us.
