Boutique B & B, stand-alone house comes with a small vineyard. We can see the vineyard from our bed. Chef-prepared breakfast was great. Clean room. Loved it. Highly recommend it.

The quaint setting, spectacular environment, and amazing food made for a wonderful birthday celebration.
This is our second time in Calistoga and both times we stayed at the Château de vie. We highly recommend having this experience.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location! All the comforts, delicious breakfast, super nice staff. Really—the view from the back porch out over the vineyards looking toward the mountains is absolutely unbelievable!!!

Loved our stay! We came for our anniversary and were greeted with sparkling wine. All of the staff members were so friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were *amazing.* It's convenient to Calistoga for dinner (not walkable, but check out the local shuttle that will pick you up at the hotel and take you anywhere in town for $1!) The grounds were gorgeous, perfect for relaxing with a book. I loved that it had a pool and hot tub too. Totally recommend.

We loved the location - in a vineyard, very close to Calistoga. We also loved the breakfasts - all prepared thoughtfully with fresh ingredients. Our room needed a bit of deep cleaning, paint and the house looked like it needed some maintenance. The bed/linens/towels/robes were excellent. The pool was refreshing after a hot day.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The manager, Nelva, was extremely courteous and accommodating.
The room was very clean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. You can hear a little traffic from the highway but not bad at all. The place is surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the distance. And as someone who does most of the cooking, it was very nice to have someone else cook for a change (both breakfasts were delicious)!
About a mile from downtown Calistoga and several local wineries, Chateau De Vie is a gem! A better experience than almost any hotel or resort we’ve stayed at in 15 years. We highly recommend it and won’t bother looking for a different place the next time we visit Calistoga!

We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Calistoga. Chateau de Vie was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The property and surroundings were superb with many "pinch myself is this real moments". The pool and hot tub were a plus. Our hosts were gracious and attentive to anything we may need. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on the patio. We are already planning our next trip back to this charming place.

Nelva was wonderful!! Very gracious and helpful. The second evening and morning it was a different host. She seemed a bit angry with us. For example as we were leaving she asked to take a picture and post it on instagram. I don’t allow pictures of myself and family on social media. She just walked away when I declined and I thanked her for everything and she ignored me.

We were lucky enough to have the chateau to ourselves for the weekend. Amazing property with an amazing host who made us feel at home. The breakfast was a nice touch in the morning. Will definitely be back if we ever visit Napa Valley again!
