Decent little Hotel/Motel with clean room, easy parking and better than expected continental breakfast that includes hot food and a waffle maker Love the proximity to I-75 and Paul Huff Pkway

The hotel was older, which in itself is not an issue. When this is a fact, maintenance is a must. The closet door handle was off on the inside, making it difficult to use. The shower rod was hanging loose from the wall, one of us held it for the other to shower, we reported it but it was not repaired, the toilet didn't flush unless the handle was held down and "wiggled", The sink had a dead fly crushed onto the counter. The hotel was full but no attempt was made to make up for the issues. We left a day early, I couldn't stay another night. I personnel were polite but nothing was taken fixed. The hotel was open corridor and the noise by 7 am was enough to wake the dead. So no we didn't have a good stay.

When I booked this motel the pictures looked good. However the rooms were nothing like the pictures. Our first room was dirty, walls in bathroom were dirty, the caulk in the tub was black, the shower curtain was filthy. The whole bathroom smelled of pee. The tub was not suitable for elderly people. There was dead bugs on the floor. Asked for a different room and while it wasn't as dirty the bathroom smelled worse than the first room of pee. I would not recommend this motel unless some major renovations have been made.

We checked into the Clarion and checked out within 10 minutes. While the employees were nice, and the front office of the hotel landscaped…that’s the only positive I can say about this experience. The pool was covered in algae and horribly green. The bathroom in our room had black mold all around the tub and a puddle of water in the bottom of the tub. I would never have stepped in that tub to shower. The toilet was dirty and would not flush. I have never had an Expedia experience such as this. But the sad thing is…I could not talk to a soul about this hotel…subsequently, no refund has been issued. The tub was so dirty that I would never have put my feet in it for a shower. The room was so dirty the tub had filth all over it it had mold the corners of the bathroom was filled with gunk and hair the ironing board was all stained i plugged in the iron and all rust water was flowing out

When we saw the name Clarion we surely expected more. We walked in to the room and immediately saw an easy chair that had torn and worn vinyl upholstery. There was mold in the bathroom.

The night time front desk lady was amazing. Very welcoming and lovely to experience after a long day's drive. The room was gross. I DID like that there was hardwood floors. It seems like a cleaner alternative to the normal carpets. There was hair all over the tub, the bed closest to the door didn't look like the sheets were actually changed, just tidied instead so we slept on top of our own blanket. There were crumbs and a thick layer of dust/ debris around the room but specifically the refrigerator and between the beds and nightstand was the worst. There was a footprint, crumbs and greasiness on the desk chair, the walls looked like they have never been wiped down with dirt and grime on them. There were also ants crawling around that we didn't see until morning and got into our coffee supplies overnight. When this was brought to the attention of Alex ( the manager I think) there WERE apologies BUT zero resolution. Though he was nice, he only offered that they were under new management 2 months ago and working through everything. They should have deep cleaned the rooms day 1 if that is the case. This about of dirty doesn't happen after a week or even a month, definitely months of neglect by housekeeping. We decided to leave and stay at the Quality Inn next door which was 100 times better and cheaper. Breakfast was not great as other reviews stated. It was good but the same ole thing you get anywhere else.

The place was not terrible, but the floors were dirty and there was a moldy smell in the room.

Stayed in a pet-friendly room for one night during a road trip. The room was so disgusting that nobody showered (stains in the tub, obvious dirt everywhere. Classic landlord paint job in the room, and the wall looked like a muddy dog shook itself dry.

I reserved two rooms and the bathrooms were dirty and not swept. The bathtubs were scratched and the shower curtains were old and stained. The rooms smelled old and musty, I had to go out and buy some air fresheners. I noticed that the rooms appeared to have been painted and the floors were redone. The hotel is in a good location for food and shopping and easy access to the interstate.

Coffee was terrible. Tasted like it was brewed with an old sock. Breakfast was not available until after 6:00 am.

Room was exceptionally clean all except a water bottle left in the trashcan. But overall everything else was very clean. And I say that having been an executive housekeeper for hotels. The staff is the best for customer service of any hotel around the Cleveland area in my experience. I highly recommend the hotel for cleanliness and staff. The breakfast is an added bonus too!
