Clarion Pointe Downtown Gatlinburg

Great location

Everything was great

Our stay at Clarion Pointe was a disappointment. Check in was smooth and fairly quick. When we walked into our room at 4 pm, the room was warm. We turned the air down and left for the afternoon. Come back at 9 pm, not much cooler. Turned it down a few more degrees and come back at 11pm. At this point it’s cooler outside than in our room. Call the front desk to notify them and see if there’s anything they could do to help. We were told our unit was blowing cold air, our room wasn’t cool because we had the door open. This wasn’t true, we opened our door so our kids were cool enough to sleep. We asked if they had a fan, no such luck. We were told all rooms were booked so moving rooms wasn’t an option either. He came back 30 minutes later( we kept the door AND bathroom door shut) to say it’s actually not cool in here. We’re(hotel staff) are checking another room to see if that unit is okay and if so you can move to it. When I got my child up that had fallen asleep at this point, I realized there was no flat sheet on the bed she was laying in. There was infant stains on the mattress cover. Electrical outlet by bed also didn’t work. The room we moved to was much cooler and DID have sheets on the bed. The location is ideal, outdoor pool was fine, but next time our group will stay elsewhere. Our ballteam stayed at this location because it was close to RockyTop Sports but next time we will all stay elsewhere.

Very conveniently located, super close to the attractions. Free parking saves you $$ and then you can walk.

Recent remodel so the room & lobby looked very modern. Nice free continental breakfast, free parking and decent location. A lot of street noise and the TV glitched out some, though. Overall better than expected for the low price.

We came to stay here for one night and I almost left immediately after check in. The room was horrible. There was no dresser or counter, literally just a bed a table and a fridge with a microwave sitting on top. The bathroom was in horrible condition. The shower was filthy, the toilet paper looked like it had been peed on, there was no shower curtain, no soaps, nothing. It was terrible. I will NEVER stay here again. Ever.

Location: Excellent, but that's about it. I stayed at this hotel for four days with my family, and while the location was excellent—everything in town was within walking distance from the hotel—the rest of the experience was awful. Cleanliness: Terrible. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there were used bar soaps, hair everywhere, and the towels were old and stained. Security: Extremely poor. Due to an error or oversight, I accidentally opened another guest's room with my key card. The person inside woke up scared because the door key cards seem almost generic. Staffing and service: Minimal. At night, there was only one employee for the entire hotel. I had to personally go find him because the phones in the rooms weren’t even connected to the wall, which was absurd. I had to go down to the front desk myself to get fresh towels and basic cleaning supplies like soap. On top of that, the lock on my room door either wouldn’t lock or wouldn’t open because the batteries were dead, and I had to track down the same employee to address this as well. Positives: The only saving grace was the location and the kindness of the ladies in the breakfast area in the mornings. Overall: Beyond the location and the friendly breakfast staff, this hotel is terrible. I would not recommend it.

Room was as expected, no fancy but comfortable. In the room Need more lights. Only lights are the bed side small lamps. Bathroom is well lighted.

Close to entertaining in Gatlinburg.

The hotel was in a great location. Room could use some improvements. Overall it was nice

More cleaning in the room and the area

Our stay was amazing. We opened the front door, and there was a huge mountain with a beautiful forest of pine trees. planning our next trip to my coworkers and family about Clarion Point.

Floor was dirty, hair in bathroom, ceiling tiles was half way off in some spots in bathroom also in my friends room ceiling tiles was out and the shower head was taped on and floor was dirty as well

Great location within walking distance of main strip.

The location is good but there is construction going on across the street thats an eye sore. The rooms are old and out dated and are musty smelling. The worst part was the bathroom. There was cordboard between the door and the wall as a hinge, the shower from the room above was leaking water through the ceiling into our tub . I definitely will not be returning.
