This is an older but clean hotel nestled in the Tenafly area. We have stayed there before and found the hotel to be just what we needed. We would definitely stay again. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, pillows soft. The internet worked well and TV had cable channels. The bathroom was dated but clean though it took a minute for the shower to warm up, no big deal. Overall a nice find.

We loved the staff, they were friendly and always willing to assist. The rooms were older and could use some TLC and it would help if there were microwaved in the rooms rather than having to use one community microwave. But all in all the visit was restful and we will use this hotel again.

The property needs a renovation. There was spider sitting on top of the sheets when we entered. We moved to another room and were unable to get in, we cut our losses and booked another hotel. Run for the hills on this hotel stay, yikes!

Even though this is one of the least expensive hotels around, I can’t help but feel the price is too high. My bill was more than I expected as I did not purchase anything extra - movies, food, etc. why do hotels charge so much? And why don’t they offer rooms with one bed for single travelers at a lower cost?
Also, the water for the shower was not hot!

My stay was horrible ..from the moment i arrived the bathroom toulet did not properly flucsh,,i notified the front desk and they did not compensate me anything for the teoubles…i was very unhappy with this room…

The only problem was the tv and refrigerator didn’t work properly. Other than that everything was good. The Tenafly area was really nice and the transit stop was right in front of the hotel.
