Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the historic building was peppered with modern flare that made everyone feel welcome. There is so much with in walking distance that they highlight for you in an in room guide. I’d be thrilled to stay there again should I find myself in the area.

We were in town for a family event. Check in was quick & the inn was a cute place to stay. Everyone was friendly & our room was clean. Next morning we had complimentary breakfast which had more than I was expecting in a nice room with tv & comfy area we could relax in. I loved the little lounge area when we checked in. Dog friendly place as well. Def recommend!

older, but very well maintained and we enjoyed staying overnight very much. In addition, room rates were very reasonable for the area. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Used Colts Neck Inn for the week post surgery before I was safe to travel. The room was comfortable. The staff efficient. The atmosphere very comfortable and charming. The continual breakfast just that but was well stocked and with enough variety.
For a place that seems to celebrate their slime ball founder it has good vibes.
We did not go to the steakhouse so I can not review on site food. Surrounding restaurants left a lot to be desired.

All of the staff were friendly and most helpful when occasions arose. The hotel has a long and interesting history. Its indoor environment was cozy, relaxed, and home like. Outside, there were many places to sit with others or by oneself, lots of shade too. A great restaurant adjacent to the property.
I liked that the facility had a 'workout' room which I used daily. State parks are nearby for hiking, history, picnicking, or just enjoying being outdoors. So happy I found this hotel.

Hotel had the personal touch such as bottled water and flowers in room, good service, pleasant environment and a non-chain. Building was from 1717, which is pretty cool, but you would never know it going by the room which was spacious with plenty of amenities. Free continental breakfast and dogs being allowed is a plus. When in that area again (which I am at times), I'll now know the best place to stay.

It was such a a quaint inn! It has been around since the Revolutionary War! The lobby & staircase looks very much like how it would have looked back then! But the rooms are very modern! For Outlander fans Colts Neck was mentioned in the show and had an Inn similar to this one! The staff was very friendly! And we met a very nice lady when we checked in named Karen! It has a handicapped ramp and beautiful doorway! It looks like all the original wood! They are pet friendly & even have some animals that live there! A couple cats & birds! They were even filming a movie when we were leaving! The only draw back was the water in the shower had an odor to it! But we will definitely be back!

Colt's Neck Inn was great! It has a very homey, welcoming feel, with a gas fireplace in the high ceilinged entrance hall, beautiful plants on the porch and old school dark wood trim. The free bike "rentals" is a great perk too!
