Comfort Inn & Suites Athens North

I had an emergency and was not able to make the trip. I tried to get my money back but have not been able to. I filed a claim and am stoll waiting. They were very rude.

Comfort and location

Great location. Carpet and rooms have unpleasant smell. We used a candle to help. Staff very friendly. Room is comfortable. Definitely smelled smoking on our floor. If you are sensitive to smells then you may not like this hotel.

Room smelled like and Indian restaurant. Could not breathe. Shower had mold all around the edge. Check in took forever because the clerk could not get the computer to ring up a honey bun for the person trying to buy one from the little store. I will never stay here again.

Front desk was exceptional. Check in was smooth. It's just an old run down property. Wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel front desk attendant wasn't pleasant. Once I arrived I greeted her with a smile and she greeted me with a "dry do you have a reservation"? I cheerfully said yes ma'am I do and handed her my identification and she returned my ID slamming it on the counter. The first room assigned on the 2nd floor. The door was visibly open as if someone left to go get ice and return promptly. I never entered the room and promptly went back to the front desk. Well the attendant was not apologizing nor was she comforting, she tried to argue with me about no one should be in the room by this time it was 10pm. She begrudgingly put me in another room on the 4th floor. The attendant never checked to see if I was okay. I used the "do not disturb" signage on my door and someone still enter my room, dumped the little garbage I had and changed the towels. I didn't need or want the service for a two night stay. I keep my room tidy and reuse my towels. I felt uncomfortable and use this location again.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, and very safe. The bathrooms are large, furniture comfortable, and beds & pillows are high quality. Very clean overall, including the pool.

The water pressure was very slow/low in the shower and there wasn't any conditioner in the shower...other than that ...it was fine for one night

it was a lovely stay - friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. The AC is a bit noisy but overall it was a good stay.

Hotel was okay. Room smelt like cigarette smoke. The staff moved us and it was better.

The pictures did not match the actual hotel. The hotel was outdated and had an old smell to it. The room was clean but it looked dirty because of the carpet and walls. A lot of construction workers and other workers stay at this hotel.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting family. They are always so friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond.

Quality site with some deficiencies

The staff here is welcoming and friendly, location is perfect for my needs. Will definitely stay here again when I visit my family!

It's definitely not worth $199 per night. dirty hotel room. There was hair on the toilet,shower & on the floor

The hotel was nasty. The shower curtains were ripped. I was scared to walk on the carpet barrfoot.

My daughter and I were here for just one night. The staff was very friendly. I felt safe. However, I did hear a lot of noise from outside. Our room was clean, and we had hot water for a shower. Although it could use some updating, it was overall okay. I gave it 4 stars because the walls are thin. I was woken up way too early by our neighbors.
