Comfort Suites Columbus Expo Center

There was technically nothing wrong with the property. My limited inateractions with the staff were pleasant. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was what i could call a contiental plus...buffet options were limited, but consistent. The only thing is the pool rarely had towles stocked, so we ened up using our room towels and requesting more. The area of the hotel was very urban, but no real food options. We had to drive 8-10 miles for decent optiins But if you do uber eats pr door dash i guess that wont make a big difference.

My son and I stayed here so that we could go to the Ohio State Fair. I loved that we could walk to the fair as it was located just across the street. When we checked in, the lobby looked nice and nothing sounded an alarm. We quickly dropped our stuff in our room and went to the fair. We really didn't check out the room. It was just drop and go. When we got back that evening, it was super late. We found the room to be dirty. The carpet was disgusting. There were hair ties left from previous people on the floor. Things were dusty and greasy. The bed seemed clean but I didn't inspect it too hard because I just didn't want to know. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on the back of the toilet. The tub didn't seem too bad. The sink was ok. The grout was black and there was crud all along the edges of the bathroom, like the dirt had just been pushed to the edges for years. I tolerated it for one night. It was late. We were tired from the fair but we promptly left at 8am. I just wanted to get out of there.

Clean and comfy, was within walking distance of the state fair!

This property is a very nice facility. They need to address some maintenance issues. We had no air conditioning when we checked in. It was address and taken care of within an hour.

Great location for Ohio State fairgrounds. Comfortable room. Staff great. Only disappointment was breakfast. Sausage, potatoes and eggs were tasteless and looked processed, almost fake. The usually cereal, yogurt and waffles were available but the pastries I I had were stale tasting (croissant & pastrie). Hot breakfast needs help.

Room must have had a water leak that was sopped up with a dirty mop. Tile was slippery and gross. Bathroom had loose floor tiles and tub floor was a sheet of ice. Boarder line unsafe. Not enough parking spaces either. Only positive was the free breakfast and fact we only stayed here overnight.

It was very close to fair grounds and easily accessed. Carpet was horribly dirty in the room.fridge needed defrost. Blankets and sheets stained bleached out and holes. Wallpaper peeling in all areas of the room.

Review on Expedia:Booking easy. Getting a refund through Expedia - absolutely horrible. Review of Property: Do not recommend. Photos and description on Expedia do not capture the pot smell throughout the whole property including inside. Pullout bed was dirty or had bedbugs. Front desk did not have enough bed linens when I requested them from front desk. Bed frame on one of the two beds has exposed metal bed frame which gouged my leg while walking by. Left the room after 20 min to cancel my stay. Nice front desk gentleman said he understood and that a refund would be granted but I would have to do it though Expedia in the morning (it was 10pm). I reached out to Expedia within a day or two for refund and two weeks later I am no closer to that refund. I recommend never booking this hotel or using Expedia.

Staff kind and helpful. Had roaches in the eating area.

Internet barely worked, didnt work at all on the TVs, all bedding had cigarette holes in them, most food was gone and/or never there for breakfast, couldnt see the bottom of the pool, no towels at pool. Staff was nice.

Good option for the price range. You could do better, But you could do a whole lot worse. In New York It’s a five, but in Ohio it’s a solid nine.

This hotel staff are above and beyond. The room was super clean. The staff were very professional and nice. The pool was awesome. Breakfast was great and clean. The cleaner came by to ask if we needed fresh towels. I would def recommend this hotel. I read mixed reviews before I stayed here about the neighborhood or hard beds. The beds were fine and the neighborhood was close to where we had to be so, it was great. I didnt see any issue with location anyhow.

This property was a lot nicer than the one I stayed at next-door last year. I will stay here again.
