Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel

The hotel was comfortable. Room were small but close to the water. The restaurant had just opened up, the service was fair. Food was over priced. Not much for a fitness gym as 2 treadmills and weights. Dog friendly, which was good. The pool closed down for cleaning which was a surprise for us.. We may come back.

Overall this place is a perfect get away. Walk to the beach or use the pool. The pool was closed for cleaning when we were there but it was fine. My husband and I hung out at the tiki bar and Jacob was an amazing bartender!

Great location and access to beach and pool. All rooms have beach view. The room are very old and not clean. I am 5.3 and the bathroom space is very tight for me and can't take a shower without touching the wall and curtain. There is dust and hair in corners of the room. The chairs and umbrella’s are first come first serve- so safe to take your own.

You are charged 20 dollars a day to park which is ridiculous because if you are staying there you should get free parking. Staff nice, room clean, pool and hot tub could use some TLC.

Dirty, needs room renovation, and structural work throughout the hotel, and a high parking lot fee added onto the bill is absurd. I totally understand this place needs to make some money off certain fees and limit the cars that the parking lot has but it should be around $25 at most in my opinion. I will say even though i did not eat at their restaurant, I'm glad that at least they were able to open it this year since it wasn't available last year. Also, allowing pets in the hotel is clearly the ownership's choice but at least make sure the rooms are cleaned a bit better because those who don't bring pets shouldn't have to deal with that. This 2nd visit was definitely my last but I appreciate the respectful hotel workers for their service and kindness!

Balcony was filthy with hair and rusty puddles from the ac dripping. Shower shampoo bottles were dripping all down the wall and shower floor leaving a yellow/orange mess. We never took a shower because the hair clumps in the shower and bathroom floor. Doors were dirty gross to touch. Beds sheets stained and mildew smell. Hallways reeked of marijuana. Very disappointed.

Dont know if i could have gad a more beautiful view. Every toom is guarantyed oceanfront balcony view. My family and I were beyond happy with the location and friendly service.

We have stayed here a couple of times and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is literally steps from the beach and had all the amenities you could want-restaurant,pool,bar,hottub etc..parking was plentiful and check-in was a breeze! Plenty of local restaurants to eat at and a putt putt course and go cart track close by. Also the aquarium was a couple of blocks away. Definitely will stay here again.

Hotel charged separately for parking. $21 per day! This charge was never disclosed at any time, even after full payment was submitted on line in advance. Only at check- in was this charge presented. Seems like an intentional dishonest scheme!

I liked the convenience to the beach and friendly staff. The only down side was the size of the beds. The beds are more like the size of a full size bed not a queen size. The hot tub was not operating correctly but we still enjoyed the pool.

Amazing staff. Says renovated but the rooms are not only the lobby and surroundings. Great location! Great breakfast.

A lot of amenities are unavailable. Staff can be very rude. A patron accidentally dropped his cell phone down the elevator shaft and when he presented this to the lady at the front desk, her response was “what do you want me to do about it“. I have stayed here several times and this was the first service by far.

I had made a mistake booking my room so I called Expedia to add a guest and change rooms to a double room. Expedia was told by staff there were no other rooms available even though it showed in the website. They finally changed our room when we arrived but we were on the pet friendly floor. When arriving in our room the fridge was not working and the balcony had water covering the ground from the AC leaking water and the balcony above was dripping onto our balcony. We asked for a new room after showing pictures and explaining it was hazardous as someone could fall and we needed a fridge as we were there for almost a week for work which we were given a new room in the same pet friendly floor. This room was okay but the floor was dirty and we found someone’s medication in the floor plus the door to the fridge was broke which we took pictures and showed the front desk so we were not charged for it. After trying to sleep I was kept awake by the broom next doors dogs and then walking in and out to take them outside. I asked for another room the next morning and was switched to the floor above. Again the room was fine but the fan in the bathroom was not working and I had to go down to the front desk due to the people next door screaming and yelling in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and they called the police.I switched rooms the last night which finally was perfect! I wish I had that room the whole stay I was there. I was only compensated $40 from the GM.
