Days Inn by Wyndham Weldon/Roanoke Rapids

When I checked in the man at the desk gave me two beds And told me it was an adjoining room. Reservation was to be one king size bed.I ordered from a delivery service.When they arrived they were followed in by the police. A gentleman got out of his car with my food in his hand I was a little suspicious because my delivery driver was supposed to be a female. I took my food went in my Room and lock the door with the two locks that were provided. Before it got dark I walked my dog when I went to unlock the door and open it I noticed that The one lock did not Lock. I walked my dog came back Closed the door It did not lock. I had to push on the door with my full body Weight to ensure that it locked properly. There were younger males blasting music. They were not hotel guests.They were visiting other guests above my room. It sounded like people were being body slammed in the room above me.I was praying this did not last all night.I needed to get sleep. Eventually I passed out from exhaustion from driving twelve hours. I woke up at 4 AM to get back on the road to drive home. Within five hours of leaving I realized I left something behind. I called my sister And asked her to call the hotel because I was Driving. She called me back and Said someone would call me. I called the hotel 2 days later, they were still looking for the item. They called Two days later, they are still looking. I called them back Seven days after I checked out and was told they did not find the item. I hones

Bed was too hard and the room was neat but not clean

Front desk people greeted us nicely. The room itself had some issues. The fridge was dirty. The toilet seat was dirty. No tissue at the sink. The door didn't shut by itself. There was an old jar under the air/heating unit. One bed didn't look like the sheets had been changed. Not stained, but rather the sheets looks rinkled. Breakfast was ok. Wish they had a waffle maker.

This was our 3rd hotel in weldon in 3 yrs, and the only one we will come back to. For affordable hotels this stay was excellent, staff was very nice. I think it is on older hotel but updated and clean.

Door locks were again a problem on one of our rooms and the deadbolt didn’t work at all on Room 309. Had trouble with the TV remote again on one room. Stains were excessive on the room carpet in one room. We will not be returning next year on our FL vacation at the Days Inn.

We were disappointed that there no coffee pot in the room and to go outside to walk to front desk to get a cup of coffee...we were also disappointed that the was no waffle maker with the so call hot breakfast.. there was no where to hang our clothes and coats...nothing....but it was a clean hotel but would have loved it better with a coffee pot and somewhere to hang out clothes that was on hangers

The check in staff was excellent, he was very helpful, friendly and efficient, which we appreciated. The room was excellent, comfortable, clean, roomy, updated and stylish. Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for traveling, right off 95. We highly recommended it.

I like the upgrades, bed was clean and comfortable. Television worked great...shower was hot very quick as soon as you turned it on. Improvements-- could be softer wash cloths, add coat hooks, and repaint the bathroom wall..lastly front door has a large gap. Breakfast although free was the worst I've had-- too few options---eggs cold (shaped circular ) sausages scary looking, no waffles and only two types of bagels...and the tinest muffins i've ever seen.

Room reservation was not smoke free upon arrival, so we had to inquire with the check in manager to get another room. Also the Tv didn’t work, so a technician had to be called to fix the problem. After changes, everything was fine.

It was fine for the very low price we paid. The furnishings were old and sad. The breakfast and the coffee were terrible. No coffee in the room. But there was a little fridge in the room that worked well. Dog friendly hotels often have filthy carpet on the floor, but this place has luxury vinyl. It left my socks really dirty, but I didn't have to worry about my dog getting fleas.

Fantastic staff. Clean and updated rooms. Have stayed here many times. Great budget hotel.

The staff are super nice

We have been coming to this locations for years. The manager at night is an awesome person. He has always been supportive and helpful to meet our every need. The caretakers of the rooms are also fantastic, very polite and helpful. My only suggestion is to bring back the waffle machine during breakfast hours.

Great stay! Rooms are a nice size and comfortable. Staff is cool. Hot breakfast is/was available however, all the drink machines were down and no one knew but the person who placed the signs on them lol. I need coffee in the morning and had to go somewhere else to get it so that's the 4 star.

The hotel was near the I-95 so it was convenient for a stopover. Check in was great. Unfortunately the bathtub couldn't be used because the shower spigot was stuck on shower only. Breakfast was included but the coffee machine was out of order.

I really enjoyed my stay. The manager was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well appointed. There was even an iron and ironing board in the room, as well as a hairdryer, and little soaps and shampoos. In the vending and ice machine room, there were washing machines to do your laundry, which I have found to be very rare. AND, to top it off, they offered breakfast in the morning, with coffee, cereal, muffins, fruit and bagels, on which you could put the perfectly sized scrambled egg and sausage patties to make a breakfast sandwich. This will always be the place I stop when traveling from the south to NY. I highly recommend!

Excellent. The facility appeared to be totally recently renovated. Check in by a gentleman by the name of Happy was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The handicapped room with the walkin shower was perfect. The beds comfortable and all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was good with eggs, meat, fruit, drinks, etc. We rate it high with very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this facility.
