Super noisy neighbors, unclean bathroom, clogged sinks, dirty linen, smelly bathroon toilet

Staff was friendly, there were stores across the street and places to eat which was convenient.

I like everything nice hotel.I recommend two other 👌

While the property was clean, safe and convenient to access, the amenities and the service of the staff at the property was poor. 1. No housekeeping, unless reminded multiple times for towels and other amenities. 2. No room service at most times 3. No bell desk or service to support with luggage 4. No water bottles delivered to the room 5. No service near swimming pool

When we stayed here, there were several issues with ambient noise : 1. Wind was howling through the patio doors constantly for the first 2 days of 4 days of our stay 2. Adjacent to our hotel is the Desert princess country club for golf - right from 5 AM the golf maintenance machines start droning 3. If not the above, the AC from the adjacent rooms start off noisily The resort pictures on Expedia or on the Doubletree hotel website pages show as though there are acres of greenery around for walking and relaxation. In reality those belong to the golf club nearby, where you are not allowed technically to walk around. Its just any other hotel with a large parking lot and "dressing" in the front. The "bike rentals" advertised in the resort amenities are of no use, as they are to be used only on the road, there's no biking path or trail in the "resort".

We used this hotel while we attended Coachella. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and checked us in early prior to festival which was so helpful due to start times conflicting with check in. Thank you so much and we will definitely use in the future.

The rooms are fine, the food is terrible, can’t get hot water or room service until 2pm, no one is going out of their way to make your stay better. With the sand storm we were shut in our room for two days with no decent food on the property. I had to wipe every surface free of dirt( probably due to the sandstorm), but still a new experience at $500/night

Double tree resort was a true resort. Very large facility that never felt crowded. Lots of activities available, bike riding, tennis, pickle ball, golf, gym swimming. Just walking around the whole facility takes over an hour. Despite desert it felt very lush. Complaints are very few. Pool towels are small and you need two for lounger, but not significant. Housekeeping rules a bit confusing. You have to ask no problem, told staff we wanted room cleaned each day. They did it twice then didn’t the 3rd again handled by hotel in 5 min which we really appreciated. Lastly again super minor, maybe wipe chairs on balcony because we sat down and had sand over our clothes but i know with the wind and desert it’s a hard thing to do. None of these would keep me from giving hotel a 5* rating and we want to stay here every time we come to Palm Springs. Location is great 12 min from downtown Palm Springs and 10 min from airport, 20 min from tram and 40 min from Joshua Tree. I could stay here a whole week. Only ate at hotel once. Breakfast buffet okay, but coffee was average. Starbucks across street just went there each day for our coffee and tea afterwards.

The hotel was clean, the staff was professional. The pool was great and the area was safe.

Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the view and tranquil feeling. Clean and family friendly.
