I stayed at this hotel for business after my flight was canceled due to a storm, and I had to book two extra nights. The location didn’t feel safe—there were many homeless people around, and it was very noisy. The room was extremely small, with the bed taking up almost all the space, leaving no area to sit and work. This made it very inconvenient, especially since I needed to work during my stay. The hotel itself was clean, but the staff were not very accommodating when I asked about changing rooms. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this hotel for business travel.

Couple of annoying things but may be same for all hotels?
1. Had complimentary HHonors members water bottles but small print says only for certain classes of members so got charged 6USD
2. They take a holding deposit on arrival and it's not a temporary thing, they charge it to your account and then refund on leaving so invariably you will experience an exchange rate loss on that transaction.

The location is great and so convenient to use metro, CVS, breakfast places as it is just 2 blocks away from the Penn Station. The hotel room was as good as expeted, aur cinditioning and the micro fridge were working well and the bed sheets were clean and well maintained. The only complaints are, the shower valve is not acurately working for temperature contol, the room size was tiny and the hair dryer was not clean but those are nothing major. In general, i was very satisfied and would visit again.

We did the rate including free breakfast. The selection was good but everyday the food was cold. From eggs to bacon to French toast it all was cold.
Staff, location are great and I would stay again but wouldn’t do the included breakfast.

The room was clean and very comfortable. We got an empire view room, and it was a fantastic view. It was a very convenient location for public transportation, and lots of options for grabbing quick meals. The lobby is small and basic, but staff was always helpful and there was never a long wait for the elevators. Checkin and check-out were quick and easy. Great bed and great shower with nice soap/shampoo/conditioner (we don't like soaps that are too strong and these were a lovely scent without being too strong). Mostly we wanted a hotel that had a nice room with a good view to rest in while we explored the city, and it was absolutely perfect for that!
