Staff was very attentive. They are willing to hold bags at the desk and actually give a claim ticket. Location has many dining and shopping options nearby and easy access to subways. Unplugged our toilet without complaint. Easy walk to Penn Station and Amtrak.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Expedia’s screw-up meant my fully paid reservation for a specific room wasn’t honored. After traveling all day, my spouse and I sat in the lobby for over an hour before getting a key. The “bigger” room they gave us was laughably small — we couldn’t even set our luggage down without bumping into each other. The bathroom? Even smaller. I later saw housekeeping cleaning a room across the hall that was much larger, yet I was told ours was already the biggest available. Requests for basic things like towels, coffee, and toiletries took over an hour each time, and I had to ask twice. And despite me telling staff not to enter my room, they ignored that and went in anyway. When we went to the bar and restaurant on the property, there was literally no one greeting or assisting guests. We stood there for several minutes with no acknowledgment, so we left. To make things worse, Expedia only gave me $140 for the inconvenience — which doesn’t come close to the time, stress, and discomfort this caused. Tiny rooms, slow service, zero respect for guest privacy, nonexistent hospitality, and poor compensation. Never again.

It was a good property in the middle of Times Square area and lived the convenience of transportation and also walkable to many places. Lots of construction going on when we visited so cannot say a quiet place 😁that too NYC is never super quiet. But felt safe enough.

great staff at check-in young girl named Tanika very pleasant - concierge very friendly and helpful- only disappointment was quirky elevators - was staying on the 27th floor of 29 - took elevator once from lobby up to the 27th floor -stopped at 6th floor picked up 2 guests the went back down to lobby - tried again -stopped on 2nd floor - then went back down to lobby- tried 3rdtime stopped on 11th floor picked up a guest and went down to lobby -finally after 4th attempt reached 27th floor - and the one and only elevator to rooftop bar and grill not clearly marked-myself and other guests had difficulty getting there - ice machines are suppose to be located on every 3rd floor -yet nothing on the 27th ? tried to call front desk from my room asking about ice machine - but house phone had no dial tone-so had to take quirky elevator back down to front desk to inquire where to find ice- finally concierge gave us a bag and were unaware no ice machine on the 27th floor which is divisble by 3 ?

I stayed at this hotel for business after my flight was canceled due to a storm, and I had to book two extra nights. The location didn’t feel safe—there were many homeless people around, and it was very noisy. The room was extremely small, with the bed taking up almost all the space, leaving no area to sit and work. This made it very inconvenient, especially since I needed to work during my stay. The hotel itself was clean, but the staff were not very accommodating when I asked about changing rooms. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this hotel for business travel.

They take a holding deposit on arrival and it's not a temporary thing, they charge it to your account and then refund on leaving so invariably you will experience an exchange rate loss on that transaction.
