Property was clean and appeared as advertised. Check-in was a lengthy process due to a very long line and limited staff of only 2 at 3:00 check in time. There was not much of a view, our 5th floor room overlooked a lobby or sitting area of some sort. The roof bar is just that, only a bar, where you must be 21 or older to enjoy the views. The elevators were very slow and crowded. We had to wait for several minutes to get to our rooms from the lobby. On Saturday night 2 of the elevators were only used for roof top bar patrons, one elevator was out of commission- used for laundry delivery and the last and only available elevator could be used by guests! Of course this would have taken an extremely long time but we were able to walk to our rooms on the 5th floor with some help from some guests who opened an emergency exit door for us. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the cheapest tastiest pizza at 2 Bros is a short walk away as well as a nice coffee shop right next door. I would recommend this property but do your research to ensure it meets all of your needs.

It was ok for the price. Our biggest problem was the elevators. We stayed on the 5th floor but every time we tried to get on the elevator going up or down it was always full. And housekeeping came in while we were in our room; asked if we needed anything and we asked for towels only, she then proceeded to walk around us emptying trash etc, while we were sitting on the bed. Also, they ran out of warm cookies so we didn’t get any at check in.

We had a really bad experience. We had booked two similar king-bed rooms at the same price, but they gave us one small room and one big room. In the bigger room, the AC was not working, the bathroom door was broken, and the sink was clogged. When we complained, they gave us another room, but that room smelled of smoke and the flush was not working. Really bad experience will never book again

Worst experience ever. Air conditioning barely works in some room. Keeps on switching us rooms and its not easy to move luggages since they dont even a person to help you move. They try to accommodate too many people without providing them good service. They are more of a quantity over quality type of hotel. They said they would refund us two nights for one room and one night for other room but during checkout they made it a big ordeal since the manager wasnt here and couldnt refund us right there and then. Worst stay ever. Would not go back find somewhere else

When we checked in the hotel seemed ok till we got to the room. The room was a very, very small there was barely room for our two luggages but that’s expected in NYC. The major problem was the room was very hot, we turned on the air and left to explore the city. When we got back later that night around 11:30pm it was still hot so we called the front desk and they said there’s no rooms to switch you too and they can’t have anyone come look at it i’ll tomorrow. we sweated all night long the next night was worse they said they fixed the problem so it was semi cool when we arrived back to the room but it got progressively hotter as the night went on and guess what the service guys couldn’t come till the next day ..it was so bad like we had the heat on ..so hot that i woke up and threw up in the middle of the night from overheating. it wasn’t till the third and final night that they finally could switch our room and we finally had a cool night after two nights of sleeping in hell like conditions …we wasn’t the only one that had this problem either , every time we went to the front desk there was a few people with the same complaints…..beware of staying here if you like sleeping in a cool room

Check in was smooth and relatively fast considering there was a large number of people checking in when we arrived. The room while tight, was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, had plenty of towels. The shower door didn't close flush so some water leaked onto the floor. For some reason neither the soap nor shampoo dispensers were mounted to the tile like the conditioner was. So, we had to move the out of the one toiletry rack that is in the shower for our own personal items. The lamps in the room all had bright white bulbs in them that were pretty harsh. They should consider warmer tone bulbs. They hotel communicates via text if you like which is convenient. Ice machines are even floors only. We were on an odd floor. The location is convenient to the Port Authority Bus Terminal which makes it really easy to access the subway and there is a parking garage there as well that is relatively inexpensive if you book in advance. The hotel is an easy walk to most broadway theaters and there are plenty of dinning options near by. f you drive into NYC, the hotel is really close to the Lincoln Tunnel as is the Port Authority Bus Terminal Parking Garage so it makes getting in and out of the city really quick and easy. There is a nice roof top bar that has nice views. Our stay was good. The service was good. The location was good since we were primarily there to go to a broadway show. The price was good. We recommend it.
