DoubleTree by Hilton St Paul Downtown

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, it was quiet. The pool was great, with towels, which hasn't always been my experience at other hotels. Only negative is that it wasn't stated obviously anywhere that you had to pay for parking. $22 for a day.

This was not the property i booked and when i called to change to the property i was suppose to be at the manager refused to allow the reservation to be adjusted costing me $160. He was rude and doesnt live up to the standards of the brand or the many other properties i have ever stayed at.

Our bathroom mirror was full of toothpaste and one of the lampshades had a lot of very large stains on it. It was so gross. No pad of paper or pen/pencil. And no free parking! Someone paying for a room should have the parking fee waived. Depending on the price, I would stay again.

All restaurants/businesses around hitel were closed. Not sure if it was due to being a Monday night, but was inconvenient to not hage the food options right there. Also, did like that there wasnot a free continental breakfast or parking for guests.

I had to take off a star...This is a great hotel, and the room was very comfortable. But at the price we paid, to be charged extra for parking and then $20 per person for breakfast, when the options available for breakfast were really no better than those we had at the Econolodge the night previous? Are you serious? For a breakfast that expensive, you would expect at least some fresh eggs and sausage or something like that. Yes, there was fresh fruit. But the only eggs were the cold hard boiled kind that come in a bag, and everything else was carbs. I'm prediabetic and CANNOT start the day with sugar and carbs, I need protein. Had to choke down the hard boiled eggs along with the anger at paying that kind of money.

I felt unsafe by myself

Hotel was clean and the staff was great. It was conveniently located in walking distance to places we wanted visit downtown.

Very run down. No temperature control for the room

Hotel was nice for a one night stay. Within walking distance of restaurants and the xcel center. Hotel restaurant was understaffed. Pool area was dirty and so were the elevators. Staff was very friendly!

Everything was lovely about this hotel, except for the service in the Town Grill.

They advertise free breakfast but apparently it’s not for all guests. That was disappointing

Great place downtown, easy walking to places. We were there for wild hockey game.
