Fairfield Inn Forsyth Decatur

I had to keep coming in and asking if my room was clean yet for me to come in my room so I had to go right around town for like 2 1/2 hours until I can get in my room not very happy

I purchased a king suite but got a queen single.

It’s in a convenient area for meeting family.

The front desk guy had on headphones so if you needed something you had to get his attention. Completely unprofessional. Have a “don’t bother me, I’m not here to help you” attitude. In setting up the breakfast, the coffee was the last the to be done. Makes no sense. We used to stay there all the time but won’t bother again. It’s obvious they don’t care if they get our business or not.

traveling to see family and this was a welcome stop. Friendly, clean place and a very good breakfast in the morning. Would certainly stay here again.

Staff has always been very friendly here, second time we stayed. They are going through a remodel, which i think is great for this area.

I chose this hotel off of the stars that they received. I should have read the reviews before booking. It room wasn't the best or worse. It was average.

Will not return to this property. The room was sticky and dirty with no microwave. I asked for cleaning supplies and received hand sanitizing wipes, but at least it cleaned the sticky remote. Breakfast was cold and the coffee needed microwaved.

We have stayed at this Fairfield Inn before and knew what we were going to get. No negative comments.

Would not recommend. 1. Placed an unauthorized hold on the card (whatever hotels do this all the time) still waiting to get it back. 2. Shower curtain had black gunk all over it 3. Breakfast disgusting. The sausage had slime on it. Breakfast starts at 6, went at 7 and there was no food. They don’t clean the tables during time either and there’s only 3-4 tables. 4. TV didn’t work. Thankfully had a fire stick with us, but couldn’t turn the tv off once it was on and couldn’t adjust volume with tv remote or the tv itself. Had to use fire stick. 5. A/C kept shutting off. Would run for 2-5 then off. Made the room pretty warm and stuffy. 6. A constant ringing could be heard both mornings we were there. We had to leave just to get away from it. 7. Hot tub broken. Honestly, I get it’s a 3 star hotel, but it was a terrible experience. There were 3 people working and guests had to wipe off breakfast tables to sit? They weren’t that busy and the breakfast area is in the lobby across from the desk and they weren’t busy. The only good thing was the area. Plenty to do around the hotel.

Stayed with our grandkids. They enjoyed the nice pool, comfy beds, and breakfast. Great value for the money

Perfect for our needs. Appears some renovations are about to take place. We had no issues.

We stay at this hotel whenever we return to Decatur. The building is now in need of updating /rennovations. But it is clean/quiet/safe. Staff are always professional and welcoming.

WiFi was only offered if you were a Marriott member or if you signed up to be a member

Nice room. Very nice breakfast. Overall the facility was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the room above us had people that came in at 1:30 am and stomped around so much it woke us up. Beds were comfy. Big pillows. Soft towels and good shower items. We will stay there again.

Very friendly, professional, responsive staff. Great breakfast, and they warn you before they put things away. Clean and convenient, nice pool. Our room wasn't supposed to have a refrigerator, but it did! They have free bottled water out at the front desk and coffee available. Located by the mall. Convenient and safe.

Friendly staff nice and quiet slept well. I left there to go to another Hotel and I wish I had staythere.

We have stayed before it was nice & clean so we chose to stay again.. this time it wasn’t as clean.. a used spoon beside the night stand, mirror was not clean just smeared and blurry, toilet had spits on it & bathroom had a urine smell.. this led me to wonder about the sheets if they were clean.. I sprayed & disinfected everything had to clean the toilet and table because it had spots from a previous can drink or something that was still there.. I didn’t complain because I handled it but it was more of a disappointment this time and was consistent with our first trip. I will stay again because I do like location & staff is nice but I just know to bring my cleaning products with us.
