Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor Resort

The rooms are just ok, they don’t feel especially clean and our shower didn’t drain. We reserved three rooms and only one was ready by check in at 3 the other two weren’t available until after 5. That’s unacceptable when we booked months in advance and paid a high price for a Saturday night during Father’s Day weekend. I won’t be staying here again.

Rooms were clean and just fine

The property was conveniently located to Ventura Harbor. Customer service was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and excellent.

Oscar at front desk took on the task of finding a room that best served my family's needs different from the room i had reserved on line. The room could have used more towels than the ones it came with but other than that, it was perfect location, by garden for my children, super close to the pool.

Staff was nice. The hotel is dated and the room was a little dirty. Worked for some place to sleep and shower

The stay was nice

I stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding group. At check in I was not provided w/info re: the “resort”amenities or where to park. I guessed the info would be in the room. I also was not told a deposit would be added to my CC when I checked in. My room also had zero info re dining, the gym, tennis courts, map, restaurant info etc. Still don’t know if they offer room service. Looked at the guide on the tv: no info there either except for affiliated hotels. Room was basic, carpet not so clean. There was nicer shampoo & conditioner provided in the bathroom and hand soap & hand lotion @ the sink. I came back from the wedding and there was a group of loud kids in the room next door. Their room door did not have the mechanism that makes it close slowly instead of slamming shut. There were about 6 kids going in and out almost constantly and slamming the door loudly. At one point they were tackling each other outside and slammed loudly into my hotel room door 2-3x. They were so loud I could hear what they were saying i.e “I’m going back to the liquor store what do you want, no text it don’t scream it at me OMG.” I dont normally make a complaint but I did finally call the front desk. 30 min later no change. I call again. I’m told i’m mistaken it’s the bride and groom’s room. I said No, it’s not I’m BFF w/mother of bride, they’re on other floor. Front desk continues gaslighting me til almost 1:30 am b4 they finally check in person. Unacceptable to wait 3 hrs to respond to complaint

It is a great location. Buy the hotel needs renovation.

Really nice view of the harbor

Loved our stay here. Came for a graduation and it worked out perfect. Beautiful property.

Prefect spot for family and business trips

We always enjoy our stay here. The service is great, the rooms are clean and with a walking distance to Ventura Harbor Village

The property is outdated and our room had many maintenance item issues. The fridge in our room made a ton of noise which made it hard to fall asleep. I would not choose to stay again.

Lots of noise from nearby guests parting on the balconies from early afternoon until late evening they refused to tone it down and staff ignored the request to ask them to quiet down this went on for the 3 days of our stay Very noisy corridors and hall ways at all times of day The exteriors are in need of upkeep very shabby Rooms are outdated and in need of modernizing difficult to find an outlet for modern devices

The property is tired. Its lack of maintenance is everywhere, torn carpets in the hallways. Large spots on the sofa in the reception area, bath towels so old that the scratch my old skin. Weeds growing through the asphalt Electric outlets worn out to the point that my phone did not charge up overnight

Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff

Floor in the room we stayed in was wet and left a black film on our feet. The sinks leaked, the shower and tub was dirty with black specks, and the beds had hair when we checked in. Staff was very nice though.

Only complaint was that I could hear the commotion of the family next door as they got ready for the day. Doors were slamming and their voices carried.
