Gateway Inn & Suites San Francisco SFO Airport

My go to hotel on the Peninsula. Clean, efordable, quiet and always accommodating.

My stay was great, friendly front desk gentleman, great room rate , amazing how clean my room was . Excellent location near public transportation and restaurants / convenience store . Very recommended. Thank you so much guys .

We were pleased with the kindness of the staff when we called ahead with questions. Upon arrival we were pleased there was no charge for covered parking! Unfortunately, the hotel elevator was under maintenance, so we had to climb stairs with our things. Upon arrival to our room we found it to be recently upgraded including hardwood floors, fresh paint and large working television. There was also a nice city view behind beautiful plantation shutters, and windows that actually open and close! And a very roomy bathroom/shower with supplies and we found that there was a coffeemaker (pod style) with supplies and very good Dark Roast coffee, a refrigerator and a microwave. Everything we love and desired was included. There was even a quiet customer lounge with seating and reading material in a large lobby right outside of our room door. We found a great restaurant/bar right around the corner (very good food!) and a fantastic breakfast/brunch spot within 1.5 miles. Another positive was the SF Airport was 8 minutes away by car! Overall this stay was definitely one of the best we've ever enjoyed while traveling and we hope to return one day. Thank you so much!
