Hampton Inn Simpsonville

My sister and I stayed I had gone down for breakfast and she was in the room and 2 girls walked in and she ask what they were doing they said they were looking for a phone they said a worker let them in but no worker was with them when I went to the front desk Kara who was working said they told her they needed to go to their grandmothers room and she gave them a key….makes me very leary of staying Here and I feel like they security was not good that they just give anyone a key to someone’s room…I feel very violated

Great place to stay! Staff very friendly, breakfast food was great, coffee excellent, and easy check in and out. Highly recommended!! 5 stars!!

I had made a reservation through Expedia for one night several weeks prior to my planned visit. I confirmed the reservation through Expedia but did not contact the hotel directly. That defeats the purpose of using the Expedia process. Regardless, when I arrived I was told my reservation was cancelled by the manager due to the hotel not being able to contact me due to a problem charging the card. Their excuse is that they sent an email to Expedia requesting contact information and did not get a response. My contact information was clearly available to them in my reservation. However, the card is not supposed to be charged until I arrive or past the latest check in time (midnight) . I contacted Expedia and they determined that the reason for cancellation was because the hotel overbooked and conveniently used the excuse that my card did not process to cancel my reservation and open up a room for someone else. The most frustrating part of all of this was that I was told that I could not speak to a manager until 7:00 AM the next day. How will that help get me a room? The only saving grace was the desk clerk kindly found me another Hampton Inn in the area (at a higher cost).Bottom line - make sure you contact this hotel directly prior to arrival otherwise, you too may be literally out in the cold.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good.

We had a great stay from the very welcoming front desk to a clean and comfortable stay. The swimming pool was heated so it was awesome to get right in and swim! Breakfast was also good. Definitely will come back if we need a hotel in this area again.

dryer did not work properly and never dried the clothes. reported to desk we were there 8 days, and it was not fixed. we had to take the wet clothes to the laundromat.

Staff was very professional and friendly. Room was clean and the beds were firm, which I like. Definitely would stay there again when passing through.

Fantastic hotel in a nice area. This property, despite being by the highway, was quiet and peaceful. The beds were really firm. As in, very. But the breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel breakfast probably ever. Thank you someone for finally figuring out that seasoning your eggs and potatoes is a good thing.

Clean, up-to-date, easy location stay!

I checked in on Friday between 6:30 and 7 pm. I checked out the next morning i was supposed to stay until Sunday I had a noisy refrigerator and ladybugs in room flying around and the occupants were noisy and highway noise also. Just doing a little get away from home I have my grandkids live with me and looking for some piece and quiet. Asked to not have anyone around us.

This is one of the cleanest most quiet properties we have ever stayed in.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times and are never disappointed. Clean, staff are friendly and helpful and they have a good breakfast.

The hotel is very nice wbd the staff was great. But the highway noise wa very loud.

Great stay after attending a concert

Overall a great stop for our family and we will be stopping again as this is part of our travel route. Thank you
