I had no idea what I was booking and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place was clean & comfortable. It was exactly what we needed the night before boarding a cruise through Alaska. The staff was super friendly & helpful. They offered to hold our luggage while we walked about town waiting for our room. The room ended up being ready early. We took a train in from Anchorage and the only problem I had was my phone didn't have any signal at the train station and I didn't know there was a free shuttle that would take me within yards of the hotel. We endede up walking a mile to the hotel.

Clean and had all the things you really need and none of the things you don’t. People come to Seward to be outside, not hotel chic. Property was maintained and rooms are basic. I would stay again. Great location. Can walk to town.

Property is conveniently located in the town. But photos posted on Expedia website did not match the actual ambience. Still overall it was a good property.

The property staff are very friendly. However, the property itself has not been updated since the 80’s, including the bedding. The rooms are very Spartan, though they do have a mini fridge. No air conditioning, which is problematic in the summer. If the windows open, you can hear the noises from the street. It is a quick walk to the docks, however, though no views of the ocean from any of the rooms that I could tell.
The rooms themselves are extremely expensive for the very limited amenities.

Our room was clean and spacious enough. We had good views of the harbor and mountains. Front desk staff was excellent and helpful. Room cleaner was cheerful and competent. We enjoyed our stay.

And the nicest people managing the inn. Big hugs!
For those who have brought half the closet book a first floor - didn’t see an elevator. But lugging luggage was worth it!

Comfortable spacious room in good condition. Property is approx 700 metres from the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise Terminal. Woody's Thai Kitchen only 100 metres away. A busy Friday evening where we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.
